They auto renew your plan out of the… They auto renew your plan out of the blue more than a month before it expire. 17h30 on a Friday afternoon. Product work great, but their aggressive marketing and trying to get you to buy extras all the time, coupled with this sneaky way of taking money directly from your account was a eye opener. Would not trust them with my banking details again! O yes, and when you request a refund, they first try to sell you half price subscription, then free add on’s, then if you persist, they tell you refund will take 7-15 days!
NEVER ALLOW UBER ACCESS TO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. Booked trip for R212, Uber put R212 on hold on my account. When we arrived, they tried to deduct R309.54. No reason given. I asked the driver who promptly show me invoice on his phone for R195.54. He does not know why they want to deduct R309.54 instead of booked price (R212). YOU CANNOT GET THROUGH TO ANYONE AT UBER. Checked invoice, which is from Winelands Fuel, who I never dealt with. Driver also claim he does not know them and can shed no light on why price has increased. Seems like Uber allow people to generate false invoices and then just try to debit it from your account. And off course when you try to contact the you need to speak to robot/pre-setup complaints that does not cover your query.
Struggling to get support. Brand new XVR not working as it should. Keep on saying it need firmware upgrade, but none of the firmware received from Dahua work. It keep on saying update failed. Very sluggish on network. Tried different networks, none working. Brand new machine keep giving system busy or low on resources message. Problem is you cannot actually speak to anyone at Dahua, technicians forever busy, you have to do via whatsapp. I spend four hours now on whatsapp with them as response is sporadic and slow with no success whatsoever. I thought they would have better support and infra structure, but they are basically the same as cheaper chinese brands like Andowl or Xiaomi
Unfortunately terrible service. Cape Town service centre never answer their ****** phones. Tried the helpline, they answer, but cannot assist - they can only give you the phone number you already called for service, that is if they does not simply cut you off. Left messages, never get any return.
Bought a Dahua DVR from them which is suppose to support up to 6MP cameras. Once installed, it did not work. Took it back, technician suggested we downgraded cameras to 1080P resolution, then it would work. Obviously a silly solution (who would want to downgrade picture quality from 5MP to 1MP - and remember you paid for 5MP). Then suggested we get a more expensive DVR, but they cannot take back the unit as the packaging was opened... how do you install a unit without opening it? As I said, really silly service and NO service. And the cherry on the cake is the management is forever busy, never available for such simple thing as clients
Phoned me and offered me a Black Friday deal. I accepted. Then I only received the sim card, no handset (which they promised were in stock), as they had no stock. Stock finally arrived. Phoned them, promised it will be delivered - nothing happened. Phoned again, Dominique who was the selling rep would contact me - never did. Colin, who could not believe the bad service I got and 'understood' my frustration promised to call back within the day - never did. You cannot contact their customercare via 084135 or the whatsapp line as 'you are not a cell C customer' yet.
Trying to get issue resolve, consultant said her system is slow, will call back in 10min. Never called. Since then I registered a complaint, which FNB promised feedback on in 24-48hrs. Nothing. Phone business account manager who promised to phone me back by end of day, again nothing happened. Not sure where to go from here….
After sales service non existent. Blame loadshedding for no service. Battery only 6 month old, does not hold charge. Feedback never given as promised. Service manager phone only goes to not available message. Office line just cut yiu off.
Placed an order on Takealot (bought the item as an birthday present). Delivery date was Monday, 29 November 2021. Nothing was delivered. Phoned them, no-one have a clue as to why it was not delivered. They cannot 'see' on their system. Promised to manually follow up and get back to us. That was yesterday. Up to now still no feedback. When we phone we have to start right from the beginning again. Highly frustrating dealing with a company who cannot seem to keep track of their deliveries.
Played Vodacom's 'Unlock Summer' promotion. Won a prize, a free ice cream cone from Hungry Lion. Below the price is 'add on' upsize deals. Offer to me was 10 Gig Data, valid for 30 days at 60% discount (R189), which I bought. Vodacom only give been activated. I PAID FOR 10GIG! They ADVERTISED 10GIG. You can buy on their standard pricing 2 Gig valid for 30 days for R149. Why would I pay more to get less? Trying to phone the help line is an exercise in frustration, as Tobi the help bot does not give you an option where you can select: 'did not get what I paid for", only missing data, which he then want to sent you a usage report. Really FRUSTRATED WITH VODACOM. THIS IS PLAIN DISHONEST AND STEALING.
