I forgot to add a user manual to the item that I returned. Takealot contacted me and asked me to take it to the drop-off point under the same return reference number, which I did. At the drop-off point, I explained the problem only to be met with "Your return reference number isn't working." Why does the call center provide instructions that cannot be handled by the system and inconvenience the customer? Looking at these ratings on Hellopeter I can see they don't give a flying hoot about service. Emailing the call center again, and they still insist I take it to the drop-off and use the same number.
MTN / SuperSonic is, without a doubt, the worst internet service provider you could ever encounter. I canceled my fiber service at the end of September 2024, and they confirmed on October 21 that the termination would be effective on October 31, 2024. Yet, come November 1, they had the audacity to submit another debit order. Their back-office systems are so *********** they can't even process a simple cancellation correctly. Trying to reach them is an exercise in frustration and futility. Their WhatsApp support line is non-functional, and no one answers the phone at accounts support. This has been an utterly appalling experience from start to finish. For the sake of your sanity and well-being, avoid this company at all costs. No one should risk their health dealing with such gross ineptitude. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from MTN / Sup[erSonic.

Momentum Money that offers cards to spend funds can't provide the services that one typically expect from someone issuing cards, resulting in a substandard, Momentum-like experience. Case in point: I spent on the Multiply card > I returned the goods > I'm due for a refund from the vendor > Vendor tries to refund funds 3x > Momentum Multiply Money card can't handle this request > Transaction fails > Momentum clueless.
Adds "MyUpdatesSubscription" service to my account WITHOUT MY CONSENT!!! Do you think you can do what you want with our money? I see here on hellopeter that it's becoming a habit now. I want this removed immediately and the funds refunded to my account!
These people ate definitely going way backwards. The salaries must have been cut in half, and then halved again. No more phone calls for updates, quotes written by illiterate workshop staff with errors. Putting down the phone while the customer is still speaking, missed lifts, an hour late for a pickup, 4 days to service a car, and service advisors that can’t spell service. Ag shame. Steer clear of these idiots.
FNB Home loans says that one can expect a turn-around time of 7-14 days. Well, today is day 31 (weekdays), and when following up, I'm faced with "We need you to send 3 months payslips through" - this after sending 6 payslips on 10 September with the rest of the documentation. The audacity to treat an existing customer like garbage is totally beyond me. Then to buy more time with stupid requests.
Makro card (RCS) division is totally ***********. More than a month ago (5 Sept, today is 17 Sept 2023) I asked via email for the makro card account to be closed. They take days to answer emails (probably too busy spamming people with their stupid loan offerings) and try to draw out the process so much that your zero balance accrues fees again so that the account cannot be closed. Really pathetic, and I can't wait for Amazon to come in and gets rid of useless organisations like this.
Provide online booking functionality only for it to be changed EVERY TIME. What a joke. Service advisors say they will get back to you with a quote - and weeks later I am still waiting.
