The Dischem mobile app has a serious bug in it. There are no contact details for reporting app problems. Speaking to a customer service person is useless because they are non technical and want irrelevant details like your nearest store. Clearly there is no support process for their app.
What a bad service experience! You would swear it's an inconvenience for them to have to service your vehicle. I was told that I couldn't add any fault reports to the "standard" service because time allocation does not allow extra work. What absolute *******! If there is a fault to be fixed then it must be fixed! I have never heard such **** before.
Today is 2 December - I received a delivery update from TAL saying delivery will be by Friday 29 November (this year). I kid you not. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO TAKEALOT'S NORMALLY EXCELLENT SERVICE?
A gas stove I ordered and paid for online arrived damaged. I went through their returns process but after 10 days - NOTHING! Just their standard automated email response that the return has been logged. Many phone calls and emails later still NOTHING. Can't believe such a large corporate has such terrible after sales service - actually I can, they just take your money and RUN! YOU have to battle to get anything back!
Trying to get deeper technical support from Axxess is a nightmare! I'm guessing my query to them is more technical than their "ordinary" queries - and I get treated like dirt! They hang up the call unexpectedly, dont transfer me to back-office support and dont have the ability to answer more than basic technical questions! Definitely a lack of training and no structured escalation process!
Absolutely USELESS customer service. Dont answer their phones, dont respond to emails, dont respond to web contact. THe person in question in this case is Athenkosi Mekane but she is just a symptom, the cause is basically FIRSTSHOP DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE! AND they dont have an order tracking service, one of the most basic functions an online shop should have!
Online Banking is a JOKE! Cant log into any of my accounts the verification step asking for account number and PIN fails with all my accounts - I cant log in! And the call centre experience is LAUGHABLE. At one stage SBSA was acceptably poor but now they are just ****!
You would think that Hyundai Milnerton would be interested in selling cars but apparently not so. Despite taking a car for a test drive and makingan offer I have heard NOTHING FURTHER from them for a number of days. The sales person Ebrahim also does not answer his phone. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, give these guys a miss!
I was asked to do work on their behalf. Of course promises for payment have been made but after months, payment is still outstanding. Emails and phone calls are unanswered, obviously in hiding. I will have to use a debt collection service to get my money back. The owner is Neville Hagan BEWARE OF HIM AND THIS COMPANY THEY ARE UNETHICAL.
Shopping online with Takealot is a pain in the ass. Do a search using words relevant to your enquiry and a whole lot of unrelated irrelevant stuff comes up that you have to wade through. Clearly they are pushing all this info to hopefully catch your interest but honestly it is just annoying! Secondly, there is NO LINK to be able to ask a question on ANY product page. This feature is pretty much a STANDARD FEATURE on most other online store sites. Especially since Takealot is only a fulfillment service it MUST PROVIDE the ability to ask questions back to the suppliers. It is a very annoying omission and I for one have declined to pur hase from Takealot on a number of occasions because of the inability to have my product-related questions answered.
