Always a pleasure dealing with the staff at house and home in tokai, blueroute mall. on Saturday, 26 July, we spoke to two consultants who gave us brilliant advice on a TV purchase and about paying our outstanding TV license. I forgot everyone's name so sorry. by the next day, after a harrowing experience trying to purchase a unit at makro in lottery (shopping around like you are meant to do) we came back to house and home and they assisted us with finalizing everything. we even got delivery same day, where the manager of the store ended up delivering the device personally to our home and helped me set up the TV and check that it was working before he left. very friendly service from everyone we dealt with. Not the first satisfying purchase and definitely won't be the last.
I normally have issues where the sales person in the electronics section is quick to assist but the cashiers take forever but this last experience was the worst so far. yesterday, Sunday 27 July, I wanted to pay my TV license and purchase a television, but no one wanted to assist me and the sales staff eventually started getting an attitude with me as well where I started telling them to rather leave me alone but even that was too difficult for them. There is a process with Sabc TV licenses where you can ask for a settlement amount if a license is overdue and, if granted, the store can call them and reduce it for payment, but the cashiers as well as the staff refused to assist. one assistant was trying to assist us but unfortunately forgot his name, but the other one (Terrence I think) even got rude with me where I had to ask him to get away from me. He went to fetch his manager for me after I asked him to leave me alone and on the second attempt he was clearly getting upset with me while assisting another customer too, he wouldn't stop talking to me after I told him to leave me alone and was more concerned with telling me how I should speak to him even though my request for him to not speak to me at all. didn't want to assist me by picking up the phone. no one assisting me would even wait for me to finish speaking anytime they asked me a question either. ended up going to House and Home in tokai and they helped me in under 5 minutes and we ended up purchasing a similar TV for 2000 less and able to pay our TV license
Just got a call from someone claiming to be a Chevonne, sort of Indian accent I think, 010 085 7339, wanting to sell me insurance for my phone I just upgraded to, telling me they got my information from the telkom store who did my upgrade 2 weeks ago. I know for a fact that the consultant who helped us would never betray our trust and give out our information for unsolicited calls from rude call center agents which means telkom is giving or possibly selling our information without consent or using fine print methods to have 3rd parties call me. Nice one telkom, will not be renewing any more contracts with you since that is clearly how little you think of me

When i came back to get the gloves Keagan showed me he was busy giving equally awesome service to another customer and I had to rush off to work, but I will return the weekend hopefully to make a purchase
Probably being buyist, but just like to say I bought my first bike through bike mania several years ago when the had a branch in tokai. any problems I had with the bike are because of the accident I was in a year later, but before that with regular servicing my experiences as a new biker was an absolute joy. I have issues with the bike (because of previous accident and current budget not the quality of their bikes) but it is still my almost daily transport and even without much big bike power I don't think I will ever get rid of it, thank you Marco!
Please urgently assist me, I am trying to get my deposit back but the sales consultant Wayne is now asking for more information to facilitate the refund and when I called we buy cars now I was first put on hold for over 5 minutes after explaining my situation and giving my account number and on the second call I didn't even have a person answering the call. I had a horrible experience on Sunday morning which could have easily been forgiven as "it happens" but now I can't get my money from you guys? Saturday I placed a deposit on a vehicle and the consultant Wayne who I confirmed all my documents are sufficient with said the bike could at least start with a power pack, the next day (Sunday morning) he did not pitch at the Richmond branch at all due to car trouble, but it was only found once I got to branch that the key could not turn and it was never able to start up (Daniel, the guy in charge of the bike section and charging, etc) while speaking to a different consultant, Matthew, who lost his iPad the previous day so first had to look for it before he was able to start helping us, Matthew was a big help and tried to start the vehicle with us, but Wayne said the previous day that it could at least be started with a jump pack, but how do you do that if you can't even turn the key, forgetting the fact that 3 of the 4 indicators were all broken and hanging from the bike, which I think could have been mentioned as well even though it's category B. I was genuinely prepared to buy the bike yesterday but now I can't even get my deposit back? Please urgently assist in returning my
Afrihost threatening to cancel my line and Phulani in there call Centre refusing to listen to me and refusing to transfer me to a supervisor, as if I don't pay for my line damn rude agents calling me to threaten to cancel my line if I don't give them proof that I still live here! Damn rude agents, come threaten me to my face!
Would be an awesome service if it wasn't for all the follow up calls after. I've used the service twice now to compare and there is no option to stop all the calls that follow after, if there is it is difficult to find and after you tell the first consultant you don't want calls, they just try you again a bit later, very annoying, would be a good service if it wasn't for this *******
Platinum Life will not stop calling me, it's extremely irritating. The last rude consultant that called me from one of their numbers a moment ago (0873304425) actually acted as if I am wasting his time not answering his questions because a ***** I used to work with gave them my info for referral or something. Now that they have my number that someone else gave me they call constantly. Not even as any professional undertaking, just hanging up if I don't want to give them info or getting rude if I don't want to answer them, no matter how many times I asked them to stop calling.
