On the 15th if July 2025 I went to Pedroa Ormonde to get a family meal. The meal was a maxi combo that costs R259.00. I ordered the meal and waited for about a good 40 minutes to get the order. The store was quite busy. Eventually I got my order and headed home. Getting home I took out the food ready to dish up. The chicken was so burned that the skin had turned black. It smelled fire from a distance. It tasted like smoke and I called several times after to lay a complaint and the phone never gets answered. So disappointed as my kids really loved Pedros but after that experience I've never heard them ask for Pedros again.
On the 25th of July 2025 I went to KFC Southgate to get a family meal..I waited for about 1 hour 37 minutes with a lot of people complaining to an extent that one lady almost slapped a cashier because we had to wait for so long. As if that wasn't enough. I got the food and upon my arrival at home noticed that the bread was rotten and had even turned grey or blackish. The meat was old and smelly, not only that but it had something like cotton wool inside. I am so disappointed after one lady tried so much to assist with the que and get orders out.
I am so disgusted at how you treat customers! I took my sisters out for a spa treatment at Intsingizi lodge and after that we went to nandos to get lunch and catch up. The place was so hot , staff seating on tables having lunch while customers have nowhere top sit. We asked one of the guys to ask if they could move for us so we get space as they were already done eating and just chatting which they could easily do even at the back of the store. NO! They could not move for us otherwise we had to take our food and leave. We asked the guy so you would rather customers suffer and not get the service they deserve because staff is eating on your tables and all others are marked off due to covid? Such an amazing and interesting place to be! Absolutely no customer care probably because we are not white people!
I work in Braamfontein and get my lunch from macdonalds braamfontein almost everyday. I must say that their service is nothing but ****. I had been getting lunch from them from the 25th of Jan to the 4th of February 2021 then i stopped on the 4th of Feb. One of the days i bought a meal and substituted a drink with coffee because it was cold on the day. I went upstairs and waited for the food. They brought the food and the chips were so hard and cold, i don't want to even begin with the coffee. I went downstairs to ask them to give me proper food. I was surprised when the person changing my food took the chips and threw them right into the bin meaning when they gave me they were aware something was wrong with the chips, he took the coffee same thing. I went again another day and bought food and took a tent with a number so i could sit in and eat. After that i was told there is no space i must collect the order and go eat elsewhere. I explained how that i don't eat at work and i chose sit in for a reason couldn't they see the order is a sit in before they processed it? While i was arguing that case a lady comes mopping and she says please move i need to mop the floor. My response was I'm still arguing my case here, how do you guys treat customers like this? She says that is not my problem sisi please move i want to finish its almost my knock off time and you are delaying me. I stopped that day and will never go back again. I have no money to waste on people who are rude and arrogant towards customers. Close the shop down if you don't want to serve customers anymore!!!!
Today,the 20/02/2021 i went to kfc to get myself and a friend lunch at around past 12. i got there and ordered a sweet chilli twister with cheese meal, 10 x 2 zinger wings making them 20, paid with my card. I then bought 2x ice cream (kit kat and oreo) cash. We drove home , had the ice cream on the way ofcourse and finished. when we got home to eat. The wings tasted so terrible, they were dry as if they were made a week ago. as if that was not enough, the twister was so bad, the lettuce shrunk, was prepacked whether it was bought by someone who didn't pay then given to me or was it a twister they prepared the previous night i do not know. i was surprised at how fast my order was called out even. It proves just how the twister was already there and was not prepared from scratch. I am so disappointed that i had to throw away food worth R200 of my hard earned money and still had to go buy food elsewhere as KFC failed dismally in providing fresh food as per their promise. With all the bad experiences i have had with kfc in the past, this is by far the worst. Close down if you have no interest in serving people!!!!
I went to Spar Berea in the morning of the 26th of January to buy something to eat as i left the house & could not have breakfast. I got there took what i needed, went to the tills. I was turned away by 4 different tellers because they did not have change for R200 , i finally got to this lady who just told me straight she did not have change & she does not know why i came with so much money so early in the morning. The 26th is month end for God sake! can i really be turned away because they dont have change for a mere 200 The whole store? Their service has gone from bad to worse & i am sure it is because they have the mentality that they are serving foreigners, we arent all foreigners even if we were foreigners also deserve respect & good service. I have never been so disgusted in my life.
I wrote an email to Citiliner & Greyhound days ago & no one as bothered responding to my complaint. Below is the email & the details of my complaint: I am writing this to express my disappointment & dissatisfaction at the service we received this past weekend from 2 different coaches that we used. My sister, T Makupula, traveled from Cape Town on Friday, the 01st of December 2017 . Her ticket Ref Number was B42QY8BZ. She was supposed to attend an interview for her in service training in Kokstad on Saturday at 7 as the person who was sent to interview her in Kokstad from Johannesburg had an appointment with her for 7 am on Saturday & was going to leave for Durban at 8:30 to interview other candidates. Firstly, Let me bring this to your attention, The bus arrived in Kokstad at 9am. This is a coach that was supposed to arrive at 05 am. The lady left for Durban and as a result my sister missed that interview and had to come to Johannesburg for it. as if that was not enough, we were booked in a bus to Johannesburg for Saturday night, Ticket Ref numbers TBYM62CS & TBYM62BT. Initially, i had booked for my one sister & I to go back after our little sisters interview. We went to Kokstad to board the bus to Johannesburg so she could be interviewed on Sunday morning as Monday was supposed to be their first at work. We got to Kokstad & the bus was scheduled to leave at 19:45, The bus was not there at the bus stop. We drove around, even got assistance from the Police to look for the bus, we could not find it until 20:00 when we decided to go to Mount Currie inn at Wimpy & we were told the bus passed there about 30 minutes ago. Before all this, i had called the call center & spoke to Siphiwe who was of great assistance to me. Siphiwe called the driver & later informed me that the bus had left but he did not know who was at fault or why the driver did not make an effort to inform us that he was leaving though he had the list of passengers and was fully aware we weren't in the bus. This was very frustrating as we are not from Kokstad but was requested to go there as Kokstad is not very far from Durban where the lady was conducting other interviews. we were then asked to follow the bus to umzimkhulu,which is roughly about 100 kilometers from where we were. My mom is 58 years old & cannot drive at night. I had to speed so much on a narrow road that i almost bumped someone. Now, my concern was the safety of my mother & the expenses we were incurring because of this inconvenience. She had to travel about 200 kilometers, at whose expense? My little sister missed her interview because of the coach that was 4 hours late. What annoys me the most is that they asked for the car description which we gave them, we were told they would wait at Total filling station. We got there there was only one bus which was not even our coach, The drver who was apparently informed to wait for us at Total garage had left us. We asked the other driver & he told us he has to leave we have to go to Shell, This is Umzimkhulu im talking about. This is a place we are not familiar with & the bus leaves us at the station where it was parked just because they apparently have a tracker & cannot wait 2 more minutes for us to jump in. We finally got to Shell & when we got there we tried explaining what had happened & asked what time he left Kokstad, his response was ' i will leave you here if you think you are clever'. These buses have a tracker, if you want it we will give it to you'. We quietly went into the bus & left. I had thought id let this go but honestly the treatment we received from these drivers is totally unacceptable, the service we received from the Company as a whole, totally disgusting. I can only hope this email will receive the attention it deserves, i hope it is not going to be one of those emails that do not get a response because you have a broken communication structure. I have never had such an experience with Citiliner, My siblings & I have used your services for more than 7 years now. We park cars & actually take a bus going home but, this has really changed how we view the brand.
<p>I must say that everytime i go to this particular Branch, i am always amazed at how helpful & friendly their staff members are. We opened a STOKVEL Account where myself & my colleagues save money & i have been to the branch atleast 4 times since we opened the account. The staff members are very helpful & i am now considering banking with them at a personal level. Thank you Standard Bank for your excellent Service Delivery</p>
<p>on the 02nd of November, i went to nedbank Park Station (which is currently under construction). I got there & as usual the que was l;ong, it was understandable thou becaus it was month end. So, i sit there for an hour + waiting for a bank statement, After some time a lady who did not even have a name tag calls me so i step forward & speak to her. I greeted her & told her i wanted a bank statement & to also update my congtact numbers. The response i got was 'ID'...i give her my ID after a couple of minutes i hear her talking to her colleague & the conversation was as follows:</p> <p>Lady helping me: i cant wait for Video Banking.....its month end dont people get that? how can people be coming to the bank for useless things as statements on month end , I really cannot wait for Video Banking</p> <p>Colleague: Giggles..........</p> <p>Lady helping me: People are annoying seriously.</p> <p> </p> <p>now, remember, i am there standing in front of them & i do not know whether what made her say such things is the fact that i am Black & wont report the matter or that i am young & have no say. I stood there & she said 'Number' I gave her my new number which she did not even bother repeating to me for verification purposes. This is my account we are talking about, what if in her anger she captured the number incorrectly? A contact Number is very sensitive when it comes to banking. Nedbank teach your staff how to treat your clients, if they are nopt passionate about ' Customer Service' let them go somewhere else because there are many other people who are in need of jobs & i believe they can do a better job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have been a Nedbank client since my UNIVERSITY DAYS( 2009)& i must say that their service is really disturbing. I wish my mom never convinced me to join them.....their service is terrible. I just cannot wait to close this account & have one with people who value & respect their clients.</p> <p> </p> <p>You are not gonna treat us like this just because we are black & young. Boiling with anger and frustration, a 36 weeks old pregnant lady who experienced an embarrassing ordeal at East Gate Mall. I withdrew money from a NEDBANK ATM at Eloff STR on the 25 AUGUST to do shopping for my soon to be born baby only to be Embarrassed when GAME STORE sent SECURITY MEN AND POLICE MEN TO RUN AFTER ME at the Mall dragging me LIKE A CRIMINAL BECAUSE I HAVE PAYED WITH NEDBANK FAKE NOTES. I could not understand what was going on or how to feel, the anger in me was and still is explainable. I took my matter to NEDBANK ELOFF to report the matter (Taking a day off work) and was helped by ROSE who told me i need a slip to prove it. I explained to her that i have cellphone banking where my transactions report so i don't request slips when i withdraw to avoid bank charges. She maintained the slip story and so i could not be assisted and called thereafter three times during the week. still i'm being referd to different people who keep telling me they will call me back but never do. R500 is a lot of money and i'm disgusted and displeased by the level of service or lack thereof by NEDBANK.THIS IS BULLSHIT,I WANT MY MONEY. they must go check their cameras or whateva. #PISSEDOF
