The restaurant, rooms, and overall facilities were great and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. However, we encountered a couple of issues that impacted our stay. Two of the rooms we booked had no hot water, which was particularly uncomfortable given it was the middle of winter. Unfortunately, when we reported this to reception, the response was indifferent and unhelpful. Additionally, housekeeping began hovering around our rooms from 8am—even though checkout is at 10am. They were waiting outside the door and in the garden area, which felt intrusive. I was still getting dressed when they started pushing to clean the room. When I brought this up with reception, I was told I should have asked them to leave, and that cleaning starts at 8am. While I understand staff have their routines, guests should be able to enjoy their full stay without feeling rushed out. Overall, a beautiful property with a lot of potential, but guest service and communication need improvement.
If I could give a 1 star I would. I have asked about 17 times for my number to be removed from their system as the account they have is not for me. They harass me on a daily basis with Calls and Sms's even though I have asked so many times to be removed and they have confirmed the account is not mine. Their service and respect for others is disgusting. I have a right to ask especially not 17 times
They bombard you with countless emails and SMS messages on a random Saturday, claiming you owe them money—BUT with no amount, no banking details, no statement, and absolutely no information whatsoever. Just vague threats about being handed over, while you sit there completely clueless about what they’re even talking about. Do they stop? LOL, NO! They keep hounding and harassing you non-stop without providing a shred of actual information. When you rightfully request a statement (over and over and over again) so you can understand what’s going on, do they respond? OF COURSE NOT! Then, after two weeks of silence, they finally send just the amount—still no banking details, no statement, no proof—NOTHING. And then the threats continue. More emails, more SMSs, more calls—yet still no response to the multiple requests for an actual statement. When they finally send banking details (after weeks of harassment), guess what? THEY DON’T EVEN WORK. At this point, I’m so sick of their threats and constant spamming that I’m ready to just pay and be done with it—but I still have no statement, no proof, and now, faulty banking details. An absolute joke of a company. Pathetic
Not even worth a 1 star. I bought a TV from them and after a few weeks the leg collapsed and the TV fell. I send it back and all they can respond with is its broken and they cant refund me.. OF COURSE ITS BROKEN IT FELL! I wouldnt send it back if it didnt fall or wasnt damaged. Now they refuse to respond to my request for re inspection. I am so dissapointed in you Takealot. Waste of money on cheap broken items
I am disgusted with the service I am receiving from Vodacom, my cellphone number/sim card is admin locked, I got told yesterday it would take 2 hours to unlock and now it has been over 24 and the call centre are useless, I will post this everywhere over and over if my cell number is not freed, It is prepaid and was locked by Vodacom so there is no outstandings
Sarah is a great photographer and she does have an amazing talent but sadly her team has let me down .. Usually I do not have any problems with response time but I am now purposely being ignored. I have been waiting for a refund for almost 2 months now and it was promised to me within 21 working days. So many empty promises!! My shoot was rescheduled at-least 3 times and I had to cancel both my shoots due to rescheduling. I did not mind cancelling as long as I got my money back. Countless emails and other ways of contact and nobody has been able to respond with anything helpful. Both my sister and I have unfollowed everything involved with Mie Elle. We have both had a disappointing service
My fiance and I were horrified at the service we received at Wimpy Cresta on Saturday morning. The gentleman waiter did a good job but it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive, I got about 3 hashbrown blocks on my hashbrown breakfast plate, my egg was soft, not hard, I had half a baby tomato and the food was cold.. I understand that you are busy but then do not have so many tables and charge your customers for a full breakfast if you give them half the portion.

I bought a beautiful ring as a christmas present for my sister in law for christmas, after a few days I had not heard anything about the order and It was getting close for them to leave on vacation, I looked to see what was happening and it still said \processing' and the ring suddenly said OUT OF STOCK. It was now 2 days before they left and still nothing
I am absolutely disgusted with the service I got last night from one of the tellers at the front. I was at the front of the queue and she kept looking around and didn't want to call me to her till, I went anyways because she was the only one that was not busy. She didn't say hello and then asked for my Dischem card and then decided to spin it around on the table with her finger while staring into space, I asked if there was something wrong, She shook her head and swiped it. She then took at least 5 minutes just to scan a few items while yawning and staring into space. This was right in front of the managers cubicle and no one batted an eye. I understand it was soon before closing time and this lady was tired and wanting to go home. But it took 10 minutes for me to leave the till.This is pathetic and it is not the first time that myself or family have received shocking service from the tellers.
