Bad service at News Cafe Emperors Palace, waiter Reitumetse and crew made us (spouse) wait for an hour just to serve a bottle of wine then after came to say they don’t have it. Had to wait another 30 to go check while they send different waiters to serve us. So disappointed and could not enjoy watching the Pirates & Chiefs match on Sunday 26th April ‘26.
I recently booked through Booking.com at Ballito Village Luxury Apartments and the agent is PROPR for the weekend. Checking out, my fiancé forgot her ring and I sent a message to them. They rep**** to state that they will send someone then to find it and arrange courier. I never got a response after that and followed up today, they said unfortunately they did not find it. How is it possible when we know for a fact that she forgot it in the flat that they did not find it, clearly who ever cleaned just decided not to report it. I really regret booking this property and I do not recommend for anyone to visit there as if they forget their possessions they might as well forget recovering it.

I joined Gym Company around March/April this year, then got diagnosed with chronic disease around June and unfit to gym. Now I tried to cancel the gym as it was a month-to-month contract, but some lady said I had to pay the outstanding amount. I paid the outstanding R400, then she turnaround and said there is a 3 months notice. She still has not sent me proof of cancellation and dragging the process. Can someone please assist me with the cancellation as this was a month-to-month contract but now I am being dragged with a 3 months notice period.
I ordered an LTE 2 weeks ago and made payment online. No one contacted me about a dispatch of the product for over 4 days. Being frustrated I then requested to cancel the order and asked for refund. Retentions department then called me last Friday and we had a discussion that I will continue with the order if the product can be delivered by 26 July, today. I have not received even a call by today, what kind of service is this? Now I’m holding on their call centre and no one is picking up.
I have an account with African Bank, and it got into arrears. I made arrangements for the arrears and i required the arrangement letter to provide as supporting document to apply for accommodation and they said they cannot provide me with one. I mean I made arrangements and also got Debit Check Mandate approved but cannot provide a simple arrangement letter. I curse the day I took a loan with this company.
My account was handed over by Smart Advance to Nimble Group for collection. I made arrangements for and paid for over 6 months but when I checked my credit score it showed something that did not sit well with me. It showed that my balance is R18000 and my instalment showed also R18000. This error affects me badly on my credit report as other creditors sees that the monthly instalment is R18000 instead of the agreed R500 per month. If Nimble Group could change this with credit bureau I would appreciate and retract my review.
I bought an Mtn with ZTE home router that has 100 Gig limit and paid for June as pro rata with July as prepaid. It is frustrating that there are no instructions that comes with it and the consultant that sold me said I just plug in and use. The device connectivity said "Connected without internet". The worst part is I bought it a week ago and even today not connected. Frustratingly the MTN help line I cannot go through to speak to a consultant. I want a refund and please can MTN come collect it's device as there is no support.
The incompetence of the staff in Truworths Balfour Mall is out of this world. Yesterday 21st September 2022 I drove to Truworths Melrose Arch around 16h30 but unfortunately due to loadshedding it was closed. Decided to go to Balfour Mall Truworths as I was doing an exchange for a trowser that my fiance bought last Saturday on account. The sales assistant said that I need the account holder to do an exchange. I mentioned to her that it's only an exchange and I had the receipt with me. She called her manager and said the same thing. But I had to drive all the way just for them to tell me this. So please advise Truworths, as on the receipt, your terms and conditions said you only need a receipt to exchange not an account holder.
The security system AFHCO 120 End is corrupted under Kane and Dumisani along with the building manager. My fiance was playing soft music around 12am and without warning or anything securities cut off electricity. I went down and asked Mazibuko/Mabuza what the process is to get lights back and immediately said the day shift securities will put it back. I further asked him where is it written that he can just cut our lights and be attending by day shift, he referred me to head office. Not making sense I called the building manager and he said there is nothing he can do. The unprofessionalism that they showed was beyond. Clearly they are used to be bribed to do their job and I can attest to that as they asked for R100 one evening to let my friend in at around 2am. Clearly the security level is jeopardize as what if the person I came with was a serial killer or ******? Who could have been held responsible as there was no record or what so ever that the person was there. As told by the previous security I went back to my flat and waited for the day time shift. 07h00 I went downstairs again couldn't fine the manager, I then called building manager and said I should call Kane head of security. Kane's phone was off, I then asked for supervisor Dumisani and took his time to get there. He later came around 09h30, and he said the securities that switched off electricity are the one the will put it back on. I asked him ample times as the previous on said day shift will do it. I again called building manager whilst with Dumisani and he said he doesn't know the reason the light were cut off therefore he cannot assist me, I should escalate this to Head Office. So now it's a Sunday with no electricity yet I pay monthly rent. Is either AFCHO doesn't care about tenants or they need to fix the security system with building manager. I am working from home, could not be online to log in at work and I could even loose my job. Just because of this unprofessional nonsense that AFHCO put me through.
