Skynet couriers need to jack up their service. I have been waiting 6 days after my vehicle license parcel from RTMC arrived in Kimberley. I still don't have it. I have phoned customer care twice only to be told that the driver was late. According to their website tracking it was dispatched (out on delivery) on 29/01/2026 at 09H44 for the first time. As of writting this I still have not received it. My vechile license expired on 30/01/2026. I wonder if Skynet will pay my traffic fine if caught with an invalid license. I think RTMC should look to a more efficient courier. This is clearly poor service.
Wanted to play a few lines on the Powerball this evening only to find I couldn,t access the site. On phoning the customer service I was told that the site was down due to maintenance. Now I ask you with tears in my eyes why the hell is the site down on a Tuesday evening when hundereds of thousands of players are trying to play the Powerball. Why could they not do maintenanance on a Friday after the Powerball which will give them untill Tuesday the next week to do it. My personal opinion is that some *********** person *****ed up an caused the site to crash.
Oh dear Standard Bank again. Please get your house in order. Yesterday evening 28/02/32023 at 19H01 I deposited R7200.00 cash into my business account via Autobank 7851. All went well and I received a cash deposit receipt. This morning when I checked my account via internet banking the amount was not shown. Normally this reflects immediately, but this time nothing, niks, nadia bogerrollie. I immediately phoned customer care internet banking and was told I was three hundred and something in the que. I opted for the call back option and after about a hour or more I was called. After explaining the situation I was transferred from pillar to post only to have the line dropped. I phoned a second time with the same call back eventually after another hour or so I was called back and after also been transferred from pillar to post I ended up at the transactional department only to be told that it was the personal dept and not the business one. I was given the direct number for the business department. After calling that number and going through all the options I was put on hold with a nauseating tune with no option of call back. After 32 minutes I ended the call as it was past 16h30. At the time of writting this the amount still does not reflect in my bank account even though I have a receipt. My conclusion is that Standard Bank has stolen my money. This whole sage is unacceptable.
I've been with Standard Bank all my life since I left school so I can't compare banks except for my brother and son who left Standard Bank because of poor service and other problems. I am today so frustrated with Standard Bank which prompts me to write this review which probably won't change anything anyway. I went to the main branch in Kimberley, which is just around the corner from my business, to deposit cash at the ATM's. Both ATM's cash deposit funtion was not working. There was also another person there wanting to deposit money. This is the third time in the last two months that this has happened. It is unacceptable. I then have to go all the way to the North Cape Mall Branch. I own and run a one man business and cannot do my deposits during normal banking hours. The previous time this happened was on a Sunday evening and the ATM was off. I went to the bank the next morning and it was still off. The staff were there but the bank was not open. I managed to talk to the receptionist through the window but she said they could do nothing because they were waiting for some other person to arrive. This really is not good service.
Courierit is the worst courier company I've had to deal with. A parcel was dispatched to me from Cape Town on Friday the 22nd July to Kimberley. At the time of writing (Wednesday 27 th 10h25) I still have not received the parcel. The courier company's tracking website indicates that the parcel was delivered on Tuesday 26th at 15h40 but states that the "company was closed for the day". What a load of hogwash, we were not closed. I have tried on several occasions this morning to contact Courierit's Kimberley branch with no success. Both numbers listed are not answered. One just cuts off after been dialed, the other gives a voice message that it cannot be reached at this time. Absolutely schocking service.
If you need a windscreen replaced go to anyone except PG Glass. I have had two done by the same with no hassels but this last one is an absolute nightmare. On Friday the 18th February I took my son's car to PG glass Kimberley to have a new windscreen fitted. They informed me that they did not have stock for the Hyundai i30 and would need to order it. On Tuesday 22nd February I got a notification from my insurer to say that PG Glass was appointed to assist me. I phoned the branch to be told that they were waiting for the part number from headoffice. I then phoned head office and explained the situation. They asked me for the claim number which I duly gave them. They said the claim was registered and did not know why the Kbly branch was not aware of it. I then phoned Kbly branch back and suddenly they knew about it but said the windscreen was out of stock with their suppliers (Shatterpruff). A few days went by and when I phoned PG Glass they said it was on its way and would be here on Monday 28th February. A while later PG Glass phoned to inform me that there was some hassel and it would only be here on Friday 4th March. The car was booked in for Friday at 08H00 which would still give enough time to go throught the roadworthy as my son was coming down from Pretoria on Friday at midday to fetch his car. We took the car in on Friday at 7h30, were busy filling in the register and key tag when we informed that the windscreen was not there. It did not arrive on the truck. Well I blew a gasket . They phoned all around and could not get hold of anyone to find out why and where it was. They said they would get back to me within an hour. Well it was about two hours they phoned and said it was in Bloemfontein and they said they would go and fetch it an install it on Saturday morning. I said it was too late as I had already cancelled my son's trip, they could install on Monday. Well I took the car in today (Monday) at 08h00 and was busy filling in the register when (I assume it's the manager) informed me the windscreen was there but it had a big scratch across it in the drivers view. Well how does that happen? He said he would get back to me within an hour, so we left for the second time. I'm still waiting and it is now 16H30. This is completely unacceptable. This windscreen needs to be fitted before this coming Friday 11 March as it needs to redo the roadworty as the grace period has expired thanks to PG Glass. That's another issue. Will PG Glass pay for the test? I dought it. I get the impression that there are employees at PG Glass who sit there earning a fat salary doing absolutely nothing and could not care a continental about their customers, or otherwise I would have had a windscreen fitted by now. I would like answers, but they are not fortcoming. So as I said initially, If you need a windscreen fitted, go to anybody except PG Glass Derrick Beangstrom
SA National Lottery website is a joke. For two weeks in a row I have deposited funds into my account only to find when I want to play then I get a message "something has gone wrong" The website does not work like it is supposed to. When I phone the helpline I'm told sorry we are having a problem the IT department are looking into it. That is as far as it goes. ********, you have my money and when I want to play I cannot. Surley there must be some sort of legal connotation here for us. YOU HAVE MY MONEY AND I CAN NOT PLAY. Don't use the excuse that it is too busy. If you want to run an online website make sure it works with whatever volumes. Totally disgruntled. Pathetic.
To everyone out there who are looking for a good courier company, Don't DON'T DO NOT use Fastway Couriers. They are pathetic. A parcel was dispatched from a company in Pretoria (unfortunately they use Fastway Couriers) to me in Kimberley on Tuesday 09/02/2021. According to Fastway's website tracking system it was collected at 16:36:23 and sent to Bloemfontein that same evening (as there is no depot in Kimberley). The website reports that it arrived in Kimberley on 12/02/2021 at 08:27:10. That is already 3 days since it left Pretoria. I still have not received it and it is now 15:48 Friday afternoon. Since 10 o'clock this morning I have been trying to track its whereabouts. I have phoned the Bloemfontein depot I don't know how many times. They just don't answer their phone. On one occasion I selected the operations option and got through to a gentleman who gave my a cell number to call. Well that cellphone is never answered or just goes to voicemail. I called the Johannesburg depot also this morning. They just put the phone down on me. I initiated a chat on their tracking page and was told and I quote "Please wait on the line, one of our friendly customer service reprfesentatives will be with you shortly". Well I'm still waiting. The chat is still open and counting 38min ago. To cut a long story short - Don't use Fastway Couriers, they are not fast!
After waiting almost 30min for sage support in Jhb to answer, when they did and after I gave my complaint the consultant just hang up and I got a beep tone. Sage has updated their accounting package and the bank feeds do not work. One has to reload the bank feed security every few days. Unlike the past when the feed was 24/7 now they only do it 3 times a day. This is going from bad to worse.
All I can say is that tracker sucks. I have had 3 vehicles on skytrax for the last 10 years plus. For the last year and a half I have had nothing but trouble. My son's and daughter's vehicles continually do not report all the time. It will show that they are somewhere, meanwhile they were there quite a few hours back. I get told the cell tower signal is weak, but then how come I can phone themon their cell's. Then the unit has to be reset. The new web app does not work like the old MyTracker website did. The new one takes ages to load and even longer on my cell phone. My wife recently came out of hospital and I wanted to see if she had been out with the vehicle. The web app said there were no journeys. When I phoned customer care they said there were journeys. I have a screen shot that shows there are no trips when there were. What has now prompted me to write this is that a few minutes ago I wanted to check where my son was as he travelles long distances to work and back. I could not log on via my desktop or cellphone. When I called customer care they said the system was down. This is unacceptable. It sounded as if there was a party in the call centre and the consultant had " I don't give a damn" attitude. Whilst writting this I have checked numerous times on my phone. The system has just come back now. I can log on but the data does not refreash. I would suggest to anyone thinking of using tracker to think again and look at other options.
