SHOCKING SERVICE SKYWORTH
I bought a Skyworth 86" TV from makro, when the TV arrived and I finally got the installer out. I opened to box to discover that this TV never came with a remote, power cord or feet for the TV to stand up with. Seriously is this what it's come to folks. Then absolutely no responce from skyworth with regards my questions on how the hell I am supposed to set up the TV without a remote because clearly my mental telepathy to the TV wasn't working.

Oder placed over 10 days ago and still not even shipped yet, surly takealot has process in place for dealing with exceptions. Completely unacceptable in this day and age where I can order something from overseas and have it the next day !

Day light robbery
This company used to be great and worked perfectly when need to have goods shipped to South Africa. They now send each item individually I have had an Amazon shipment spared across 6 shipments and has cost me more in shipping than I paid for the goods. they also then round up shipping weights so they can charge a premium for each parcel. JUST STAY AWAY, thank goodness Amazon is coming to South Africa so we don't have to deal with thieves like this anymore!

FiveStar Solar Inverter that left me in the dark
I purchased a 10Kv hybrid solar inverter from FiveStar. My installer installed the unit and the unit was faulty. Do not for one second think that this manufacture has any sort of warrantee or guarantee on any of their products. The unit was then in for repairs as they do not swap out brand new faulty equipment. after one month of being told the unit is ready and two visits to the shop the unit was still not repaired. upon enquiring again when the unit will be ready i was told the repairs will cost R8500 on a brand new unit that never worked. Stay away from the con artists !

Plumblink just delete your hyperlink, you online operation needs and overhaul
Don't bother using Plumblink online to buy anything. I ordered goods on 11/02/2021 only to be informed 5 days later that they didn't have stock. After having to follow up myself again on 02/03/2021 that the goods will only be shipped 04/03/2021. Almost 1 month Plumblink not to shabby if you where sell good in the 1800's.

Deskstand left me standing
So this is how it works, Deskstand only cares about it big suppliers like Takealot. Dont waist you time ordering direct because their website has no stock management to tell you that they have on stock to ship to you. then when you contact them for help to enquire where you order is because you mate that ordered the same day as you got his 3 days later and that you have been waiting for 2 weeks and don't even have an order update, you get fed ****. Don't buy direct these clowns have no clue of how to service a customer .

Online that's permanently offline
I placed an order 11-01-2021 and was informed that delivery would be 4 days. a week and a half later my order had not arrived. I email, phoned and even whatsapp''ed vis the company's Facebook page to no avail. I had to clime in my car and drive to PTA from JHB to get an answer from incompetent staff to tell me that had no stock. they assured me that they would email me by the time I got home to sort out the refund. I am still waiting for that email. Stay away from these clowns !!!! I don't know how they can claim to have an online arm.
