This serves as a serious complaint regarding the conduct and standard of care in the Emergency Unit. My husband was assessed by another doctor on Friday for a spider bite and placed on antibiotics, with clear instructions to return should there be no improvement. By Sunday, despite the bite having been opened and drained, the condition had deteriorated, with visible discolouration, and my husband began feeling cold in 32°C heat. He was also experiencing pain when walking on the affected leg. Upon presenting to the Emergency Unit, Dr Siluma laughed off the symptoms, failed to properly assess the deterioration, and made a snarky, dismissive remark asking whether my husband wanted to “stay at home for a spider bite.” No consideration was given to the nature of my husband’s work or the functional impact of his condition. When I raised my concerns to Dr Siluma and asked him to explain to me why he feel it looks fine while another medical professional raised his concerns on Friday, he walked past me and said he’s ending this conversation. This behaviour was unprofessional, dismissive, and clinically irresponsible. We will be escalating this matter formally, as the treatment received falls well below the standard expected of an emergency department. This experience raises serious concerns about patient safety and the declining standard of care at this facility as it is not our first bad experience!
Today I visited Zara in Menlyn or rather tried to but I was said to leave my trolley outside as its not allowed in the store. I had my 2 year old twins with me and one was lying in the trolley sleeping while the other one was awake. I asked the lady how am I supposed to walk with 2 kids and the stuff I had with me plus the one is sleeping, it’s unreasonable but she didn’t give a damn and said to me I should leave then. I find it extremely strange that previous times I went there with a trolley and my kids in it wasn’t a problem. This is the most horrific customer experience I’ve ever had and I will not go to Zara or buy anything from them ever again. So what is the difference between a trolley and a pram???? I wont be surprised if prams are then also not allowed, it’s ridiculous to say the least if that is how you treat your customers!!!!
Despite numerous calls and emails with proof of payments showing that my account was paid the payments are still not allocated to my account or reflecting on my statement and yet the account department still has the audacity to harass me with calls, sms’es and emails advising that my account is in arrears. Furthermore to be so ridiculous to charge me R20 per call made to inform me of the arrears account even though the damn thing has never been in arrears. They are quick enough to allocate the R20 per call on my account but no one is quick enough to allocate the payments to my account!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will now forward my email with attachments every hour until I receive a response and updated statement reflecting the payments!!
During the end of March 2024, I received a call from an MTN consultant advising that my month to month contract will be ending end of the month and therefore, she wants to offer me a promotion to upgrade the contract. I’ve initially clearly stated that I’m not interested, she however went on and advised me that the deal she has for me is alot less for more minutes and data. According to her, if I remember correctly, the new contract amount would be +|- R205 per month. This was to good to be true for me so I confirm numerous times during the call that it will be the total contract amount and that the contract will be capped and cannot go above that amount. She confirmed that it is correct. I’ve proceeded with the upgrade but not one after the upgrade was the agreed amount deducted. This month’s statement is R474.04 which was NEVER the amount I agreed to this is also not less than my previous contact amount!!!! I have also not received my contract to date!!!
I’ve calles Wesbank last week and had a query regarding the incorrect increase in interest rate that was app****, the consultant could however not answer ANY of my questions and informed me that my complaint will be escalated and that someone will contact me in 72 hours. Its now far more than 72 hours and I’m still waiting!!! Clearly they want to deduct the incorrect amount before rectifying the mistake on their side!!!
I’ve placed an order on 15 March only to receive an incomplete order. This was not the first time it happened therefore, I’ve expressed my dissatisfaction in store and via email however, due to poetry’s delay I had to hear that the item is now out of stock!!! This is absolutely ridiculous!!! I’ve also received an email saying that they might have already requested proof of banking details for the refund or credit yet it was not the case and I am still waiting!!!! I am so disgusted, and its sad that I cannot say that I’ve ever received good service from poetry or Keedo especially not with online orders!!!!
We’ve received two Anglecare monitors only yo find they are faulty and has minimal sound to it. To date we have only tested the devices and could not use it as you need to walk with it like a phone next to your ear to hear something. This was taken up with Anglecare who referred me back to Takealot however, its been more than a more now that I’m trying to reach you telephonically without success!!
I bought a vehicle on the 25th of Feb and the dealership activated the existing tracking unit in the vehicle. It took someone for Tracker 2 weeks to call me regarding the unit and to give details regarding the costs etc. A lady called me last week however, I was about to step into a meeting so I requested her to call me back later… Needless to say I’m still waiting for a call! It is also concerning that I accidentally pressed the panic button on Saturday and still also haven’t received a call from Tracker!
We got two C127 monitors for our twins in Jul/Aug 2022. We used the monitors for the first time in the beginning of December but to our absolute disappointment, the volume on both monitors are so soft you cant hear anything. We have increased the volume to its highest level but still almost no volume. You have to hold the remote next to your ear to hear something. We’ve removed the monitors because its absolutely useless and the biggest waste of money ever. We’re sitting with the monitors now and cant use them because of its issue. I won’t suggest this monitors to anyone.
Tried to report fraud telephonically as well as via the secure chat without success! I have requested a call however Boitumelo kept making excuses not to call me and requested me to report the fraud telephonically or to unblock the card in order to report the fraud. The point is someone is trying to use my card which I’ve temporarily block and your banker advised that I should unblock it how does that even make sense!!!! Can someone please contact me as a matter of urgency
