I have been using Skullcandy earphones al my life, never had any problems with them untill n bought a set of pods, they worked fine fro about 6months and then one of the buds would not chrage anymore. Send them back and got a refund. 1 Year later I bought the ANC rail buds through my FNB app. I have the same promblem. I tried to write to Skullcandy South Africa with no response, not even to say that I have to go through FNB to try and resolve this. Seems like lifetime warrenty they offer is only a sales gimmick, with no after sales support.

I saw a blackfriday add on facebook and thought let ne get me some earbuds to keep me company over the holidays, made the purchase 29 November 2025, the last communication I received was confirmation of order. I wrote a complaint on their add last week 04 December Thursday someone did a follow up and advised the order was dispatched from the warehouse it should be with me in 3 working days. Today is the 4th working day and no courier information no nothing and I am leaving my work place for holidays Friday there will be no one to receive the order that is IF they deliver.

I bought SkullCandy Headsets here in South Africa, 4months ago off of Amazon.co.za. They no longer working , this is very surprising because I'm age 30 now and iv only bought these headsets throughout my life. They give a high quality sound and usually last for 2 years. However this time around they've only lasted 4months. Its like they giving ****s to online distributors to be honest

I bought a set of skullcandy headphones in May 2013. The cover started to perish and one of the headphones came loose. I found the box and invoice and remembered when I bought them I was told they carry a lifetime warranty. I went to Luks Brands to get it fixed / replaced under the lifetime warranty and was told that they only have a 2 year warranty. For the last 2 weeks been emailing the company with a photo of box clearly stating LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY but they refuse to budge, saying this product only carry a 2 year warranty. Surely lifetime is not 2 years. This is the last email from them before closing the ticket and saying the matter is resolved. I will never buy a product from this company again. Hi Danie, Unfortunately your warranty period has leaps. Please note old packaging say LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY which its 2yr warranty. Really disappointed in Skullcandy. Bought a set of Skullcandy grind pit viper on their online store and when I open-end the box the one earbud didn't work from the beginning. I send it in for warranty, waited almost a week with no response and when I contacted them about it they don't want to replace it with the same color or I must wait 2 weeks till they get stock. Its now been 4 weeks, every week they tell me they don't have stock but they're website says there is stock. don't understand and they're customer service is totally unacceptable

Really disappointed in Skullcandy. Bought a set of Skullcandy grind pit viper on their online store and when I open-end the box the one earbud didn't work from the beginning. I ordered the wireless riff Skullcandy earphones off of their website in December 2020. Last year June the first earphones started giving problems (I couldn't connect to a different phone, I disconnected from the main phone and couldn't connect to it again ). Requested an exchange and was given a link to follow on how to fix them which didn't work . I've sent another email stating the problem, and was told the same thing again which did not work. I later go an email with return forms to be filled and sent back to them but couldn't find the proof of purchase, I told them that I do not have it but can provide a bank statement, and that was the last I heard from them till early this. I sadly threw them away as I couldn't use the product, I believed Skullcandy was one of the best brands, as I've used products from them before and I truly expected these products and the service I've received to be better. I am very disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone again.

Never buy skullcandy any product in south africa. I bought the sash evo and it stopped working while under warranty, they say they need proof of purchase, it has the box with barcode that they can scan. I bought it at fourways mall kiosk, never will I buy skullcandy products again, I'm going to blog and social media for the rest of my life about they **** return policy
