Suzuki Menlyn is the worst place I’ve ever had my car serviced. I made a booking and specifically asked them to check the air conditioning as it was no longer cooling. When I dropped the car off at 07:30, I again reminded them to check the aircon. By 14:30 I had not heard anything, so I contacted them myself. The lady I spoke to was very annoyed with me and said they hadn’t even started the service yet. At 16:05 I received a call saying the car would be ready by 16:30. When I asked about the aircon, the same very rude lady told me it needs to be re-gassed. I then asked if they would be doing that, and she said no — they didn’t have time.

I have been to Suzuki Menlyn four times asking them to inspect my brakes because of a strange clunking sound. I bought my car in September 2024, and ever since then it has been nothing but trouble. Despite raising the issue repeatedly, no one is willing to help. Instead, they keep making me jump through hoops for what seems to be an obviously defective-and very important-part. I'm clearly not the only one experiencing this issue; I've seen other customers mentioning the same brake noise in their online review. Yet the dealership continues to act as though the problem doesn't exist. Just because Suzuki is selling many cars doesn't give them the right to treat customers poorly. The after sales service is practically nonexistent, and that's unacceptable for a new vehicle under warranty. I have now taken to social media for help putting reviews on Google on all the Suzuki sights I can find hoping someone will just help me. I've contacted Suzuki Menlyn, the ceo of Suzuki, any and every email I can find for Suzuki and Suzuki customer service but NO ONE will help me My advice DO NOT purchase a Suzuki. I would not anyone else to go through the same frustration. Suzuki does not even deserve 1 star

My experience with Suzuki Menlyn has been extremely frustrating. I called four times, was transferred about twelve times, and several calls were dropped. No employee seemed able to connect me to the correct department to obtain a formal quote. This is the second consecutive poor experience I’ve had with this branch. On a previous occasion, I was quoted roughly R22,000 to repair a driver’s side door lock mechanism—an issue that cost only about R7,000 at Penta Suzuki Centurion Select. It is unacceptable that two branches of the same group provide such vastly different quotes. Overall, both their client service and pricing practices are highly disappointing.

My experience with Suzuki Menlyn has been extremely frustrating. I called four times, was transferred about twelve times, and several calls were dropped. No employee seemed able to connect me to the correct department to obtain a formal quote. This is the second consecutive poor experience I’ve had with this branch. I had the privilege of receiving such outstanding service from Suzuki Menlyn (The Penta group) when I took my car in for a service. There weren't any hassles, they explained to me all the charges on my account, which is still under the service plan, so no payment was due from my end. They had organized a drop-off and pick up for me and everything ran smoothly

I service my Suzuki S-Presso At Penta Suzuki Menlyn the 29/03/2025 first the was n problem with my booking I phone on Thursday the 27/03/2025 and then they tell me I have no booking after a while they found me booking and said if I did not phone that day then I could not service my car but it is sorted when i arrived on the Saturday the 29/03/2025 they said there no body in the wash bay so they can't wash me car at the end of service so i received my car dirty after the service and 9 o'clock they said my car is done I can came and collect it I arrived there 10 o'clock and they was still busy with the paper so still waiting 30 min before I could go the phone me Monday the 31/03/2025 and tell them i am not happy and since then until now 2 weeks later no response so I will newer service my car there again or refer somebody to Penta Suzuki Menlyn

My ervaring met Suzuki Menlyn is baie sleg. Elke keer wat ek my motor in vat vir 'n diens wag jy langer as 'n uur vir persoon om jou werk of huis aftelaai. Soos van oggend 01/04/2025 het ek na 45 min iemand by my werk gebel om my te kom haal. In die tyd vanaf 8h00 het geen persoon ons wat daar gewag te kom inlig om te verduidelik wat is aan die gang en hoe lank dit nog sal neem voordat die persoon gaan kom. My tracker alam het afgegaan en het ek onmiddelik gebel om te hoor wat aan gaan. Ongelukkig kan ek nie die dame se naam onthou nie en sy sou ophardloop (ek dink sy hardloop nog steeds) om uit te vind wat aangaa. Ek het na 45min terug ges***el en moes dreig met my prokureur sodat ek 'n antwoord kan kry. Engela van der Walt

What a bad experience with Suzuka Penta Menlyn. For 3 months we battle with them to replace the Ciaz aircon. The car is stil under warranty. Since October 2024 the have all sorts of excuses. First the new part was broken then it was the wrong part. Now the third time they work on it again but took the whole day to fix it after I took the car 6:45 in the morning of 10th of January 2025. The car is still not finished and they can't supply me with a curtisie car for the weekend. When the booking was made on Tuesday for the repair I told the lady they have to provide me with a curtisie car. Lot of excuses and left me without a car for the weekend. I told them I've got appointments. Their only excuses is to give me a car on Tuesday. This service is unacceptable. I'm a pensioner.

What a bad experience with Suzuka Penta Menlyn. For 3 months we battle with them to replace the Ciaz aircon. The car is stil under warranty. Since October 2024 the have all sorts of excuses. When the booking was made on Tuesday for the repair I told the lady they have to provide me with a curtisie car. Lot of excuses and left me without a car for the weekend. I told them I've got appointments. Their only excuses is to give me a car on Tuesday. This service is unacceptable. I'm a pensioner.

I booked my Suzuki Swift online for a service (2 year), the booking was easy and user friendly. The morning of 10/09/2024 my Swift went in for the service and all went okay. Until I waited 2 hours for the shuttle service to drop me off. There was a problem with my vehicle and it had to stay overnight but it was repaired under warranty. I collected my vehicle on the 10th of September. Afterwards I got numerous phone calls and e-mails to rate the service and all was settled and done. However, I got a phone call on Monday 23 September 19:00 to advise me that the part I was waiting for arrived(petrol pump). I was very hesitant but booked for Sat 28 September in any case. I did not know about the petrol pump that was supposed to be replaced. I phoned again on Wednesday the 25the of September to ask if they maybe phoned the wrong client. Nobody returned my enquiry and I thought they saw they made a mistake. They phoned me again the following Monday to ask me when I'm bringing my vehicle. I explained the situation and out of frustration booked for the Tuesday 8th of October. I had a meeting for that date and postponed the service to the 10th of October. When I got at Suzuki very early (7:00) I tried to book my car. However, reception said my car was not booked and I they quickly made an arrangement and on site booking. The shuttle service took me home. At 11:00 they phoned me to say they made a mistake and I was the wrong client and there was nothing wrong with my Suzuki can I please come and collect my vehicle. This was very inconvenient as I had to take leave and make arrangements with work, clients, meetings and school arrangements to fetch the kids. I won't be using that branch again.
