TMM Lofts is a poorly managed accommodation with rude staff who are unhelpful and slow to process refunds. Communication is a major issue, as they often ignore emails and respond disrespectfully when they do. The management shows little concern for residents' well-being despite numerous complaints, and issues like water, electricity, and Wi-Fi are frequent, especially during exam times. Reception staff, particularly Tsholofelo and Koketso, lack interpersonal skills and are dismissive of complaints. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is the world’s most disgusting, horrible and distasteful. They have no cooperation whatsoever. The staff is absolutely rude, they do not know how to treat their customers or students tenants. On the 19th of May 2025, around 6pm the electricity left and they only sent a message 30 minutes after. They sent another one on the 20th around 7am and it’s 11am right now and no response and it is the only place in Hatfield/Arcadia without power and this is so inconveniencing for students. The constant Wi-fi issues. They will be very quick to reprimand your noise levels but fail deliver to their promises and students. Whatever you do, do not consider this accommodation, you WILL REGRET IT!!!

this accommodation is a ****mer, I paid my son's deposit in December and they called me in January advising that my son won't qualify to stay in their building I told them no problem please send my money back so I look for a different place they tell me to send an email, I did send the email since today no reply to my email when I call them they told me that their account departments don't have phone so they won't transfer me, I must wait fr the reply is almost 3 months now no reply from them I need my money back. beside my money, the service from the staff is very bad they very rud and they don't know how to deal with their customer. they don't deserve any star

TMM LOFTS HATFIELD THE MOST DISGUSTING AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM THE ADMIN/ RECEPTION OFFICE. IT EVEN REPULSES ME TO RECALL THE NAME(S) OF THE PEOPLE I SPOKE TO. THE NERVE & AUDACITY OF THE STAFF TO CONCLUDE THAT A STUDENT “CANNOT AFFORD” TO PAY AFTER COMMUNICATION WAS SENT TO SAY A TOP UP PAYMENT WOULD BE PAID UPFRONT AT THE END OF THE MONTH BEFORE THEIR MOVE IN. THE **** STAFF DO NOT HAVE PEOPLE SKILLS WHATSOEVER AND THEY ACT LIKE THEY DOING US A FAVOUR. Awful management team of Tmm lofts Potchefstroom My sister's accommodation was cancelled a week before the commencement of her 2025 academic year at NWU we are told it was cancelled is due to ill treatment of staff by our mom who over the age of 60 years, her side of the story was never heard or considered or can be proven of such ill treatment. We find ourselves in the middle of February without her having no place to stay for her studies, and we all made necessary preparations to find accommodation on time paid all the monies required only to find out she has no where to stay. The management protects their staff and disregard their customer's concerns, past reviews indicate that the main with Tmm has high poor customer service and several reviews consider management to the worst aspect of the accommodation. This indicate that management applaud their staff for such behavior never taking the opportunity to hear the customer side of the story. The lease agreement was signed of which the do acknowledge and we were told lease will be emailed, but even with that they say the lease was not concluded because the landlord and representives didn't sign the lease so it was included so action intent is not considered. During the application it was never mentioned that the application can be cancelled if and when they want to. They also mention that Tmm is a privately owned dwelling and rights of admission is reserved for who is this right reserved for the student or any other person accompanying the student who is going to occupy the dwelling. They mean to say the child is punished for their parents actions who is not even the surety( person responsible for the payments). When proof is requested of these allegation mentioned, they just stated that the issue is matter is finalized, meaning do not ask any questions as they will not be even considered. They are in position of power and they now that they have desperate parents and student lined up to find accommodation at all cost, who are we any way hence the quick exit strategy not proper conflict resolution process. As the surety I was looking forward to my sisters stay at Tmm for her final year of study, I am so disappointed in Tmm loft dispute resolution with untrue and unfounded allegations they pinned on my mom. WHERE IS THE PROOF to back up their story. Sure they don't have to proof anything right

Don't ever, ever take your child to stay at TMM. They are so expensive, with all the unnecessary extra higher fees than most places. My daughter stayed there last year, we paid a deposit of almost R6000 plus a placement fee of R1500. We filled in an application at the end of the year to apply for next year. We misunderstood that the placement fee should be paid again this year but when the lady from the Hatfield office called us, she said it's ok to come and pay the placement fee when we bring our daughter. Only to come there to hear that there is no space because of the placement fee. But mind you the deposit is still on their books. I'm so disgusted with that place.

No wonder this company has a lot of complaints. There process is so ******* and inhumane. The lady handling this is the most unprofessional. No phone nor work ethic. Totally appalling. Does the legal system knows that this establishment charge a non refundable placement fee for R1500!!! On top of that they hold your deposit. Release my deposit! This is *****ing. I can only imagine all the ill thoughts given to this lady.
