Good day, I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the handling of my account and the poor service I have received. I have always paid my account without any problems. However, your company debited my account earlier than our agreed debit date without any notice, communication, or consent from me. After reviewing the policy and our agreement, I confirmed that there was no arrangement allowing an early debit order. No one from your side contacted me by phone or email to inform me of this change beforehand. As a result, the debit was unsuccessful because I was not prepared for the money to be taken before the agreed date of the 27th. I contacted the branch requesting assistance and asked for another mandate, but although I was promised that someone would contact me, nobody did. I also sent an email to crediter@nupay.co.za, the email address provided on the mandate details, and I never received any response. What is even more disappointing is that I am now receiving calls at my workplace from people saying Lewis is looking for me, making it seem as though I am avoiding payment or refusing to cooperate. This is unfair and unprofessional because the problem started due to your company failing to follow our agreed debit arrangement. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication, assistance, and professionalism shown in handling this matter. I request urgent intervention and expect someone to contact me as soon as possible to resolve this issue professionally.

Worst customer experience after sales. I purchased a bed and after it was delivered, I had to pay someone to set up the tri bunk bed, even though delivery code included the setup. I called in about a month or so ago and have not had communication about those complaints. Lewis also has been taking payment before the assigned due date.

I bought furniture for my mum on Saturday from Lewis Kingsway Street Maseru, Lesotho. I was informed that it will be delivered on Monday. It is Wednesday today and I have not received it. Not even a courtesy call. When I called the consultant who dealt with me, he doesn’t answer my calls anymore. Every month they deduct money but their stallment keeps on going up, it was 2651 the deducted 1250 on the 22 of May now instead of my left balance being 1400 it still says 2650 is there in any way you can help with this

Good Day, I would like to formally lodge a complaint regarding poor service received from the Lewis Protea Glen Branch concerning a couch I purchased through a Lewis account. I purchased an Alaska Couch, with the first debit order scheduled for 26 May 2026. However, upon delivery, I noticed that the couch delivered was not the same couch that was shown to me in store and agreed upon during the sale. I reported the issue on 18 May 2026 to the salesman, Jackson, who advised that the store manager would only return on Thursday, 21 May 2026, as she was allegedly the only person authorized to approve stock exchanges. On 20 May 2026, I visited the store again to follow up on my complaint and was informed that the matter had been assigned to Msindisi. He acknowledged that the mistake was on the store’s side and advised that another couch would be fetched from Randfontein. He promised to provide feedback before the end of business on 20 May 2026, but no communication was received from him. I then had to return to the store myself to follow up again. Msindisi then promised that the correct couch would be delivered on Thursday, 21 May 2026, but once again, no communication or delivery took place. Thereafter, I contacted Jackson again and requested that my contract be cancelled and that the incorrect couch be collected. He asked me to allow until Monday, 25 May 2026, for the correct couch to be delivered. Monday has now passed, and still no communication, update, or delivery has been provided by the store. It is unacceptable that, despite the mistake being entirely the store’s fault, I am expected to continuously follow up myself while receiving no proper assistance or communication. The branch appears to be quick to process sales and debit orders, but extremely poor when it comes to customer service and resolving issues caused by their own negligence. As matters currently stand, the debit order is scheduled to go through on 26 May 2026 while I still have the incorrect couch in my possession. I therefore request the following urgently: 1. Immediate cancellation of my Lewis contract/account relating to this purchase. 2. Collection of the incorrect couch from my premises. 3. Refund of any debit amount that will be deducted on 26 May 2026. 4. Written confirmation that this matter has been resolved. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service received from the Lewis Protea Glen Branch, especially considering this is the second time I have experienced issues with the same store. I would like to come back once again to write to you as a big concern about Lewis store. We have a debit order as arranged and it went through this morning on the 25 May 2026 yet I got a call that we haven't paid and still got and SMS that our account has been handed over to Lewis store for collections. I have had it with Lewis. The next thing they sent people to my house and claim they didn't now about the arrangements. I have reached the point were I'm going to the Ombudsman to help.

Lewis Alberton New Redruth. Such disrespect from one of their employees. I was in contact with a lady I unfortunately I did not get her name. I called on the 25th may 2026 around 12:47 pm. I was calling for my account trying explain to them about my debit switch from an old account to a new account. A lady was so rude when I wanted her to open up on ID number in order for her to get my furniture profile. She told me that she doesn’t just talk to me alone there’s so many customers coming in and out and calling day in and day out. What I’m really so disappointed in is the fact that I tried to tell her my ID number so she has an idea of who she is talking to. If people can not work hand in hand with people then I rather not be helped by such people. No Customer service at all with so much rudeness.
