Had the worst experience with your store I purchased my camera in October last year its still supposed to be under warranty which was ticked by your sales people in store to say still under warranty. I had to call in to ask what is taking so long with the camera repairs nobody called me or got back to me The knob where you adjust your camera settings came lose and yet I had to send it in for repairs , now they have the Audacity to tell me due to impact the warranty doesn't cover it and its going to cost me R3517 to be repaired I literally used the camera few times for photos and if it's due to impact the screen would also be broken and other parts of the camera Very disgusted in your after sales service

Why do you advertise online sale but more than 60% of items are 'Awaiting stock' this time of year? Will probably not be available for Christmas gifts. To me it makes no sense to advertise specials without stock. I'll rather look elsewhere thank you.

I make use of 4 cameras for the reason to cover short, medium and lang range photography. These cameras are: Nikon 5600 (bought from Outdoorphoto) Nikon D750 Canon 7D (bought from Outdoorphoto) Canon 5D (bought from Outdoorphoto) 5 x lenses (all bought from Outdoorphoto) I however found that some of the camera and lens ranges obviously overlapped. As such the Canon 7D was underutilised, aggravated by the pandemic. The Canon 7D was (and still is) in as new condition with a shutter/photo count of 3449. Because I make use of 4 cameras, obviously all of them have low shutter/photo counts. I subsequently decided to let the Canon 7D go but at the same time I considered going mirrorless. With this in mind I went to (as usual) to Outdoorphoto, where I was offered R6000 trade in for the Canon 7D (body only). I knew that the Canon 7D was worth more, but I accepted. I settled on acquiring a Canon 7R and after concurring, the salesperson took the Canon 7D to the workshop and returned telling me that they will not take the 7D due to a high shutter/photo count of more than 104,000. I explained that it is physically impossible because it would require taking 70 photos per minute for 10 hours per day to achieve a count of more than 104,000. I then realised that I have customised the photo numbering to fall outside the other cameras’ numbering range by adding “104” to the numbering. But I soon realised that this is a ploy to put me off the trade in option as it is very obvious that the excellent condition of the Canon 7D does not match the argument by Outdoorphoto. It is one of those situations where the person knows he is lying to you and he knows that you know he is lying – just to affirm that he wants you put off! I am deeply disappointed with the unprofessional behaviour of Outdoorphoto. As professionals they should be able to determine the shutter/photo count of any camera. But to back out of the deal in such a manner is improper. I however, kept my part of the agreement and I unfortunately took the Canon 7R without being able to trade the 7D in. Lessons learned: • Negotiate AND FINALISE the trade in BEFORE you buy. • Outdoorphoto staff are unprofessional and must not be trusted. Go somewhere else. Finally, if you are interested, I have a as good as new Canon 7D available at a fair price. But for now, I am using 5 excellent cameras.

I put a Canon R50 creator kit in my cart and when I went back the afternoon to purchase the price had changed. I had a chat with someone online, who said that it can still be processed, but then they just went silent and didn't come back to the live chat. I ended purchasing it your competitor who price matched your price.

Terrible service from Rayden. I dealt with him the entire week last week to buy a camera. Made the payment on Friday and sent him the pop. Today he tells me they don't have the camera and they have one possibly available for a client that is POSSIBLY going to collect it. Rayden made this decision clear in his mail to me that the POTENTIAL client will take priority over a client who has paid. This is not on and not the historical service I have been receiving from Outdoorphoto throughout the years I have been buying equipment for the companies I have worked at.

The shop in waterkloof has issues with people of colour, they seem to not see any people of colour with all the active for floor assistance. Profiled against, being told to take off caps & glasses in 35⁰ conditions while white people could wear caps & glasses in store. They continue to have security follow us all around the store assuming we aren't there to pick up what we called for. As two young black South Africans we were dissatisfied with the service. We trying to clean this country & have to be told by gents in their twenties. Grow up

Unsurpassed customer service from Outdoorphoto, I purchased a Nikon camera and lens online, the camera was delivered within 3 days to Cape Town. I originally bought a Nikon Z 611 body, contacted the online sales team by email, they phoned me back within 3 minutes and changed my order to a Nikon Z711. Fantastic service!!!
