Placed an order and all I got was a driver will be assigned to your order for over 30 minutes!! I then called the call centre, no answer for over 10 minutes!! What is going on!? Do better!! If you are providing convenience then uphold that standard!! And I’m still waiting for a driver to be assigned to my order as I’m writing this review. 😡
Why are there never enough buses on a Saturday and Sunday 109, 118, 108, 105?? Our work schedules does not change on weekends. Due to hardly any buses we are all forced into one bus!! This is outrageous and unacceptable!! Sort your yourselves out myciti. Put more buses in the morning and after 5pm so that all of us weekend working folk can travel to to and from work hassle free!!
Why are men accepting rides when I specifically request a female driver? How do they get the female drivers’ requests? And UBER please ensure that there are more drivers available from 5am onwards. We need rides to work. And STOP charging cancellation fees when it’s not the driver we have requested. And the waiting time for female drivers should be shortened? Why give us that option when you over charge and prolong the waiting time for that option?? These issues needs URGENT ATTENTION!!
Absolutely worst courier I have come across. My calls have been purposefully disconnected. I don’t know if I will receive my package. More needs to be done to report ********* business practices like this.
Nando’s gardens / kloof street makes the worst chicken livers!! Not only does Nando’s charge R99 for a full meal livers that is less than the small raw livers sold in shops. This is outrageous!! Not only was the Nando’s tasteless, it bothers me when I pay so much money and I have to leave half of that already very tiny portion because of the awful taste!! One thing this branch is consistent at, is making the worst chicken livers!! IT IS OVERPRICED, TASTELESS AND WAY TOO SMALL NOT TO MENTION MISLEADING ON THE MENU PICTURES!! Either reduce your prices or increase your portions and actually get a better cook can deliver on taste and quality!!
I wish I could get it a zero. This platform does not support legitimate small businesses. After having my submit very sensitive information like banking statements which are in great stead, ID, home address etc they still decline my application just to tell me my business is new. What do these platforms expect. All businesses were once new. This is utterly disappointing to know small businesses in South Africa does not get any support. I hope some really wealthy genius reads this review and start a trustworthy payment gateway that will help new, legitimate small businesses.
Shopify has made it so easy for independent business owners to have a selling platform BUT there are little to no benefits for South Africans. All of their payment gateways are NOT for South Africa. Leaving us with 2 or 3 payment providers who has ZERO desire to help small businesses. So Shopify please give us more payment provider options to choose from. This is crucial. We as small South African business owners need your help. I paid so much money on ads even went viral where my ads informed potential customers to go to my website on shopify and checkout on there via payflex. Later to find out none of my customers could have their payments processed. No communication from payflex. Yes this is what we as small businesses have to deal with. I am a proudly South African company. Where I buy all my raw materials from South African suppliers and I make my own products and I have fellow South Africans to help me run my small business. Why is it so hard to get the help we need to succeed? Shopify I hope you can make other payment providers available to us.
Very disappointing that all of these payment methods will never be helpful to small independent South African businesses. They have 110 questions just to refuse working with me. We are trying so hard to create jobs for others by starting our own businesses and get a Shopify store just be stopped by companies like peach payments. Shameful!!
I really love the wide selection of fabrics but I hate that I have to wait close to 2 weeks for my orders. They are in South Africa and yet we have to wait so long and yet their delivery fees are very expensive. We are also running our businesses and we need our materials to reach us much quicker. This is unacceptable!! Use Aramex they deliver within 2 business days, if not sooner! Customer satisfaction is vital!! Do better!!
I made use of the boost post. Paid for it and Instagram failed to boost my ad. And Apple refuses to refund me. Instagram and Apple are robbing small businesses blind. They give us the option of boosting, charging an arm and a leg and then they still don’t boost our posts. This is not the first time. I have lots so much money paying for ads that wasn’t boosted. There is no correspondence from Instagram and Apple only does one thing and that is to refuse refund requests. ********* business practices. I’m sure nothing will come from me leaving this review but I am still hopeful that somehow these businesses can improve this disgusting way of taking money from their subscribers. Shame on you Instagram and Apple. Do better!!
