It's over 3 months trying to return faulty heater to this company with mo success, tried calling, emailing as well as on Facebook. My view is that they doing this deliberately so that the warranty lapses. I would urge anyone not to buy ALVA brand as tithe company takes no responsibility for the defects
Bought their electric heater two months ago, bars just died one by one, when I try to report on Takealot was given email to contact the company directly but it's been two weeks with no response
I had mobi money account with them, I then made payment on the 23rd December via EFT however they also debited my account on the 24th. I called to requesting a refund but as always you'll stay online for over 3 hours with no answer. I then took another mobi money loan. To my surprise they added the payment I made of R1475 to my loan of R2561 but according to their agent am still gonna pay normal installment besides having credit for R1475 put forward. I then asked that they refund me my EFT payment since it's confusing everything but they are refusing. My initial installment is 996.00 for 3 months before they transferred my EFT payment into that account, it surely can't be the same and for the same period still with credit that I have. Please run from this company, *********** staff who never answers telephone or emails.
I took a cellphone contract in August of which the agreed installment was R449.00 and month end September R563.00 was deducted and now issues because I knew with new contracts, first installment is usually higher. Now, I got statement stating amount due of R591.00 for this month. I've been calling and emailing with no success to get this resolved.. Finally today, a told they charged me insurance which I didn't agree to, immediately last month after receiving some policy documents I emailed them requesting t cancel that nonsense. I got cancelation email from them. Now, am being charged for something that is canceled and didn't agree to on the first place. Please advise me if is possible to cancel this and return your phone. I've been on hold for your insurance for 1 hour with no help except your consultants laughing at me in the background.
I took a policy with them in July online, however it wasn't confirmed as I didn't receive any confirmation or policy documents from them. However, end of July they tried debiting my account and had to go to the bank to dispute it. End of August they did the same and I disputed it again, how on earth do you debit someone who you never sent policy documents or any communication for that matter? Wasn't even sure of the terms of my policy and even the policy number. I'm that whole process I lost my granny whom I included I that cover, but because I knew In most cases waiting period is 6 months and Wasn't sure if the cover valid or not didn't bother reporting it,furthermore is a struggle to cancel this policy. I've been sending emails but as always no one ever attends to them. Their service is beyond worst. All I need is for them to cancel this joke of a policy and stop debiting my account as I incur charges.
It's been over 6 months now awaiting for feedback regarding changing of my cellphone number and four months without a bank card. My card expired in April and my current cellphone number om their system doesn't allow me to change it. It logs a query which was NEVER EVER followed up for 7 months now. I tried reaching out to them on social media since they go no branches by my efforts bared not fruits. It's extremely disappointing the level of service am subjected to in this bank and no one takes ownership for customers dissatisfaction as they got mechanism to trace such incidents. For a fast growing, it's beyond shocking that I takes so long to attend to such minor issues, which raises and questions of what would happen if I lose money this bank. They would probably take 7 years investigating as they currently on 7 months investigating query. I don't advise anyone to join this bank
I just to put it out there to the world to know that this company ****ming it's customers through it's non existing promotion. Few weeks ago, three weeks to be precise. They ran a promotion whereby you earn spins after spending certain amount on their spins games. I qualified to receive my free spins however to date they still not credited despite myself reaching through to via various communications channels including social media. Instead was met with rude,disrespectful and arrogant Chadwin. Despite forwarding the said communication to them and still requesting what's due to me they went silent for 3 three weeks now and counting. I reported the matter to gambling board and still awaiting response. This is just not about receiving my free spins but about false promotional adverts to lure customers and lack of operational ethics from this company.
Worst customer service ever in my entire experience at retail. Had discount voucher which wasn't redeemed at the store despite advising the cashier about it, immediately reached out to truworths on social and only responded after a week, I then opted to email was only responded after a week still with questions despite me providing those details on my initial email, to date it's 20 days of back and forth, no resolution to my query. Am gutted in the service rendered by this company and won't encourage anyone to be lured by the promotional vouchers promised when opening the account. I now regret it. This and many other queries just shows lack of leadership and responsibility in this company's management, and lack of insight. You can't have queries opened for that long with no feedback.
It's been more than a week since I asked takealot to cancel my order since they weren't gonna deliver it on time. I've joined their program which is called takealotmore and when I ordered was under the impression that since under the program Joburg is listed as one of the cities eligible for the next day delivery, I'd get my stuff the next day. However, the delivery was scheduled for yesterday and immediately contacted them that it won't useful to receive or to get those products on that and they should cancel it and refund me. I sent dozens emails last week but to my surprise today the delivery guy called me saying he's outside. I told him those orders are long canceled, am just waiting for my money which Takealot stuff doesn't want to process for over a week. **** these people.
I took a loan from a credit provider who happenned to use Nupay as a service provider for payments. Went to withdraw funds at atm but got error message, on second attempt it gave me "insufficient funds' receipt. went back to the credit provider who told me the funds shows it was withdrawn. I was then asked to go do affidavit at the Police station stating that i didnt get the funds, i did and i filled some forms. However was told that Nupay says it would take half a year to resolve that (150 days to be precise). Thats nonsensical considering that in a weeks time i would have to repay the money that i didnt use. I emailed Nupay recenlty to no response to date. On my statement that i got it shows theywere paid R300.00 from the loan i took as srvice fee and that is added on my bill. However they cant assist me with getiing my money back until 150 days lapse. they could just give me my money and deal with their internal process alone, as funds will be returned one way or the other because ATM cameras will prove that i didnt get any funds. Thats just useless service i received from them and wouldnt reccommend anyone to ever use NUpay
