An utterly disappointing experience @ Panorama Knead. Our order was 2x orange juices and 2x bacon, egg and cheese sourdough toasties with chips. The juices, served in small glasses, were frothed up and diluted with water. Looked rather like a milky smoothly. More foam/froth than liquid. The food order took almost an hour - to fry a few eggs, bacon strips, and put this on toasted bread... We gave up on receiving a meal, so eventually decided to get up and go. Paying the bill, I received the food in takeaway boxes, and what I saw next shocked me - the diluted, frothy juice cost R46 PER GLASS. I was certain I didn't buy a 2L bottle of juice... And the toasties weren't sourdough afterall, but plain ol' white bread. Lekker cheap. I am disgusted by this manner of theft. Charging for quality product and swapping it with cheap alternatives. Total order cost: R270 Not nearly what was received in value. Rather support Durbanville Knead and drive the extra distance.

I have been a regular customer at Knead for years, and I have always been impressed with the quality of the coffee, the insanely good baked goods (best I've found anywhere) and the friendly service. Recently, I had the unfortunate experience of being involved in an armed robbery at the shop. This was an unprecedented event that could have happened anywhere and by no means reflects any lack of safety or security of Kneads' premises. Despite the high-stress and dangerous situation, the management and staff at Knead remained incredibly calm and professional. They even went above and beyond by including me in the insurance claim and reimbursing me for my losses. Good businesses, led by good people need to be recognized and the staff at Knead truly exemplify the kindness, professionalism and integrity that we can all strive for. I am grateful for their care and concern, and will be a customer for life. In the wake of the robbery, the restaurant has also taken steps to beef up their security, which gives me even more peace of mind when visiting. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Knead for a delicious cup of coffee and a warm welcome from the friendly and compassionate staff.

I suggested to a colleague that we meet at Knead in Palmyra, however upon arrival at around 16;20, to our disappointment, a staff member said they were closing due to a "deep clean" and he suggested we go next door to the ice cream shop where they serve coffee, and we did. Minutes later, the same Knead staff member came in carrying two paper bags each with a loaf of bread and said, this was for our inconvenience. The gesture was much appreciated, thank you Knead!

A big shout out goes to Knead Bakery in Muizenburg! I always look forward to starting my day with their coffee and muesli cookies and that sets the tone for the rest of my day. I even sneak away from my desk during my lunch break to get my daily fix of pleasure. A wonderful Team that always greets with a smile (yes - I can see it behind the mask!). I wish them many more years of success and delicious muesli cookies for me to devour! I thank you again

Knead at Constantia Emporium has been out of their On the Green Side plant based chicken since last week - this means that ito plant-based offerings their menu is sorely impacted however despite going in each day to check if it's in stock as a customer I get a response from Manager Belinda equivalent to 'eish we are suffering' The apathy is appaling. Wellness has stock as does Constantia Village Pick n Pay so the supplier must have stock and yet there is no evidence of any action on the part of the store to secure stock so that their plant-based menu is more than optics. This is Veganuary and if not now then when the Hades will people be tempted to try alternatives to cruelty on their plates ? Not having sufficient stock means that THREE items from a limited menu are unavailable.

I used to work at Knead Sanlam Head Office Bellville. Untill I experience attitude from the staff serving customers. Dragging feet and just take their time and unwilling to serve on time. When i complained. The supervisor in defense of that claimed that they short staffed when everyone would be standing around doing nothing and just look in my face and not serve me. I have stopped going there. I would never recommend it anymore. go to sustain rather. I guess thing such as good customer service will only be realized at such times when Resturants are closed. Learn to value every customer and treat them wth respect so that they may return.

My partner and I went to the Knead Bakery in Palymra Junction in Claremont, Cape Town. I ordered an eggs Benedict and it got served with egg shells in it. Which I found very disgusting and ruined my appetite. Our waiter told the manager and the manager was extremely rude to us telling us it wasn’t a big deal. An apology would have sufficed but I feel it was racially motivated and would not recommend that Knead to people of color.
