Performance appears most fragile around peak occasions like Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, where logistics and quality control repeatedly break down for high-stakes gifts.
The most common complaint about NetFlorist, based on Hellopeter's AI analysis of recent customer reviews, is Delivery, Fulfilment & Logistics. Delivery (4.5) is the dominant pain point. Customers repeatedly describe missed delivery dates on birthdays, anniversaries, and Valentine's Day, late-night drop-offs at closed offices, drivers spoiling surprises by calling recipients, and orders marked delivered when they were not.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I have received from Netflorist. As a Standard Bank UCount Rewards customer, I redeemed two R500 Netflorist vouchers in anticipation of purchasing birthday gifts for my wife in April. After selecting the items she wanted on your website, I attempted to complete the payment using the vouchers and settle the balance via card. However, I repeatedly encountered an “invalid voucher number” error. I initially attempted the transaction again on 22 April, only to receive the same error message. Subsequently, I contacted your support team via email (orders@netflorist), clearly outlining the issue and requesting assistance. When I did not receive a response, I followed up again on 24 April. To date, I have received no reply, no acknowledgement, and no assistance whatsoever. This level of service is completely unacceptable. As a result, I was forced to purchase my wife’s birthday gift elsewhere. It is now over a month later, and the complete lack of response from your customer service team is, frankly, astonishing and deeply disappointing. I expected far better from a company of Netflorist’s reputation. At a minimum, I would have appreciated a timely acknowledgement and support in resolving the voucher issue. I trust this matter will be taken seriously and addressed as a matter of urgency.

i Guys, anyone else had poor service delivery from NETFLORIST. I placed an order at 06:25am on 26 May 2026 for an Anniversary gift for my Wife and tracked order all day with not updates on thier system. Then I cancelled order way before 17h00 the same day then get an alert that the order was out for delivery at 17h15 and now I'm liable for 15% handling fee and delivery charges. Driver arrived at my property at 18h30 and tells me it was the first delivery on his schedule. Am I still liable for the charges? They say it's within thier delivery timeframes and I'm still liable. Please don't use NETFLORIST for your gifting, they will disappoint. Go check the Reviews first, people are appalled at thier service. By the way, this was my first time ever using Neflorist and will never ever use them again. My wife uses them for Company gifting with same issue and now they also stopping using them This is also going onto My Broadband as well after reading all the reviews, I should have done my homework before using them.😤😤😤

I have been a loyal NetFlorist client since the 1980s and although i have not used them for a ling time I always trusted them for quality and professionalism. Sadly, my recent experience shows how far their standards have declined. Earlier this week, flowers were delivered to us as a gesture from another company. While the thought was appreciated, the bouquet itself was shockingly poor — wilted, poorly presented, and without any proper arrangement. It looked as though the flowers were assembled from stock about to be discarded. When I raised this with NetFlorist, their response was dismissive. They claimed the “correct number of flowers” had been delivered, missing the point entirely. The issue was never about quantity, but about quality, presentation, and the lack of care in the arrangement. My reply made this clear: “This is such a pathetic excuse. It has nothing to do with the number of flowers. It is about the quality, the arrangement, and the presentation. It is obvious you do not have a clue of the once high standards NetFlorist was accustomed to.” Their follow-up apology felt generic and failed to demonstrate accountability or understanding of the problem. For a company entrusted with delivering people’s expressions of love and care, this lack of attention to detail and customer service is unacceptable. NetFlorist was once synonymous with reliability and excellence. Today, they appear to have lost the plot. I share this experience not out of malice, but to warn others that the standards of this once-professional company have deteriorated

Bought two items for a birthday. Delivery was perfectly on time, but one item had a permanent delivery sticker with all my personal details stuck right onto the beautiful cellophane wrapping. It completely ruins it as a gift. When I raised this with Owen in customer care and sent photos, I was simply told it's done so items aren't mixed up in transit. Explaining the process doesn't fix the ruined presentation. I rep**** to express my frustration, but they have ignored me since. Disappointing that they didn't bother trying to correct this.

I was gifted flowers for mother's day. Looked nothing like the intended flowers. Contacted them on their website and email. No response whatsoever.

Netflorist ruined Mother's Day I ordered flowers for mother's day and they sent me dead flowers, I couldn't give my mom those flowers and when I ask for refund they say that the flowers look fine in their eyes, I do not want to speak about the amount of airtime I wasted just trying to get assistance. I do not recommend anyone to buy flowers from this place, saying they are the worst does not even cut it. They are trying everything in their power to m make sure I do not get my money back.

So it happened again. After never having a successful same-day delivery in 6 years, still having an outstanding refund from 2019, and being given the runaround when asking for feedback, I decided to try one last time. I should not have been surprised that they failed AGAIN. My friend's birthday surprise is ruined. The kicker is that the driver was apparently outside her house, but never bothered to hoot and make his presence known. She was right inside. Now I have to go through all the admin shlep AGAIN, all the while hoping and praying I can get my money back for the same-day fee. I was a fool to try them again, they are incapable of even the most basic of services. No watch how they blame the client, give zero feedback, and hope that they will forget that they stole your money. This time I think I'll try the CGSO route, for what it's worth. Either way the gesture is ruined. Next time I'll just drive to Woolworths myself, pick up some flowers, and deliver them personally. I'll save a fortune, a headache, and my friend's broken heart.
