Scores reflect the Overall AI Score for each category
Based on recent customer reviews, OneDayOnly is praised for genuine bargain deals and occasional standout service from named agents like Andre B and Jesse-Leigh, but customers overwhelmingly describe a deeply broken returns and refunds process, slow and unreliable courier delivery, and inaccessible customer service with no contact phone number. Product quality complaints around counterfeits, misleading advertising, and Temu-grade items further erode trust in higher-value purchases.

Based on recent customer reviews, OneDayOnly faces significant customer experience challenges across most service dimensions. Customers consistently praise the deals and occasional standout agents, but report widespread frustration with returns, refunds, delivery delays, and unreachable support. While a minority describe efficient transactions and helpful interventions, the dominant narrative is one of post-purchase difficulty and slow resolution on faulty or misdelivered goods.
The most common complaint about OneDayOnly, based on Hellopeter's AI analysis of recent customer reviews, is Refunds, Returns & Consumer Rights. Refunds, Returns & Consumer Rights (1.1) is the most damaging theme. Customers describe weeks or months waiting for refunds on faulty goods, rejected returns, return shipping fees, and repeated CPA references. Suppliers often declare items working and ship them back unrepaired.

They delivered a product but did not indicate it on the App. It was the wrong product. With them not acknowledging delivery. I cannot return the product. I cannot reach them. Help Centre is automated. I did email with no response. Please do not trust or use this online shop.

Their specials are indeed specials and they previously handled my cancellation with ease. The one thing they could do differently, is their delivery time. I've ordered an item more than 10 days ago. Left the country and came back, but still no movement. Still love the platform.

Customer service is so rare these days especially with he new generation who can not see the bigger picture, They just exist to fill the time without the broad picture thinking, I was going to raise a complaint about Toren, who refused to assist me with a free delivery coupon that was not working. This guy could care less if this impacted my purchase for R8K. His response was blasé and he refused to assist me. He was just texting me back and forth demanding that I need to give him respect. So much for giving the customer respect. This fool was prepared to lose a sale for over R8k for not accommodating a delivery coupon for R139. This is why I believe some youngsters should still have training wheels on because they dont know the value of money and more so could cost companies losses. Toren was mostly interested in getting the day done for his weekend. I was about to cancel my sale and told him I would giving me a sterling review on hellopeter. In a short while later, I received a WhatsApp chat asking to call me. It was Andre.B who in a matter of minutes reinstated the delivery coupon so that I could make payment for the items in my basket. He apologised for Toren's transgression and Andre also noticed that I was a regular loyal customer - he didn't even blink and made this happen in seconds. Andre made me feel like a valued customer and saw the bigger picture. For literally less than 1% discount, Andre closed the sale with me. There is a lot in saying the experience is the best teacher and companies need to take heed. The Youth of today believe they need to be given respect and I am not sure for what...especially when most of them lack basic critical thinking skills and a firm understanding on what customer service is and supposed to be.

If I could give a lower rating I would If you’re considering buying from OneDayOnly, do yourself a favour and think twice—especially if there’s even the slightest chance you might need to return something. Their return process is an absolute nightmare. What should be simple and customer-friendly feels deliberately obstructive. The instructions are unclear, the system is clunky, and responses take forever—if they come at all. It doesn’t feel inefficient by accident; it feels designed to make you give up. When you finally do manage to log a return, don’t expect fairness. Returns are often rejected with little to no proper justification. And instead of resolving the issue, you’re told to try again—relog the return, pay again, and maybe this time it will go through. Yes, you can actually end up being charged just to attempt a return again, which is beyond unreasonable. To make matters worse, the customer service is extremely unfriendly. There’s no sense of urgency, no accountability, and certainly no willingness to help. You’re treated more like a nuisance than a paying customer. Then there’s the advertising. The deals look incredible—almost suspiciously so. Products are marketed in a way that builds high expectations, but what arrives often doesn’t live up to the hype. Whether it’s questionable quality, misleading descriptions, or inflated “discounts,” it creates the impression that the “bargain” isn’t as genuine as it seems. Overall, shopping here feels like a gamble stacked against you. If nothing goes wrong, you might get lucky. But the moment you need support—or worse, a return—you’ll quickly see just how frustrating and costly the experience can become. Proceed with extreme caution.

I bought two tracking watches for my sons. It arrived and I put in on charge as per instructions. The watch turned on for a second then turned back off again. Both did the same thing. Could not function at all. I sent it back and it was confirmed that it reached the supplier on 29 January already. As to date I have not been refunded and no further communication received. Please beware of OneDayOnly. Their customer service is shocking. Next step - reporting to consumer protection.

Absolute joke. Long SLA delivery times which they do not stick to. I used them once years ago it was so bad I swore never again. I never got the item or a refund! I saw a special bed for my dog a month ago and decided to take another chance as the bed would be so helpful to him. Again I am let down... no bed all these weeks later. You cannot trust this company don't buy anything unless you don't mind if if ever arrives.
