I purchased a 2 seater recliner from House and Home at Gateway Umhlanga last Year on the 26th June 2025. I noticed that the cushion on the seat is sinking and the material on seat looks like cracking apart. I reached out to the customer service, they said I need to take photos and video to the store manager. He then sent them to the supplier and their feedback is that it is normal wear and tear. I am concerned at the quality of the product I purchased. I paid R9000 for a couch that is sinking and the material is cracking and creasing after 11 months. This products life span is under a year. I hardly sit on my couches cos I work long hours and I wiegh less that 70kg. I am very disappointed at the customer service and quality of the product. R9000 for couches that last 6 to 11 months is a ****.

I paid for a fridge from your store almost two months ago, but I still have not received the item. I have already visited the store in person, attempted to speak to the manager, emailed customer service, and contacted your social media team, but no resolution has been provided. The store is now also refusing to refund my money. I am requesting immediate delivery of the fridge or a full refund within 7 days. If this matter is not resolved urgently, I will proceed with formal complaints to consumer protection authorities and continue escalating the matter publicly. I would just like to say a big thank you to Meicy at House and Home Meadowdale for her friendly and outstanding customer service. I telephoned her on Thursday 14 May after seeing a reclining lounge suite on the website, she confirmed that there was stock at the warehouse. We went in to the store to see it for ourselves, paid for it together with some dining chairs and she promised to have it ready for collection at the store the following day. She kept us updated the Friday and as promised we got our delivery on time. She even phoned me after we have unboxed to ask if we were happy with everything. She is truly a loyal employee and went above and beyond for the company. Thank you Meicy!!

Am really disappointed with House & home furniture shop after I bought furniture cost more than 25000, my washing is still under warranty and its not working its been a month now giving empty promises, how do I do laundry? Am really not happy the way they treating me.

I had the best shopping experience at House and Home Greenacres and I want to give a public shout out and recommendation to Kaycee Windvogel who was the Sales assistant helping me. This has been honestly the best buying experience because of Kaycee as I saw her go above and beyond to help me and I received the most beautiful couches and TV stand. The service was speedy and smooth! Im grateful to House and Home and Kaycee, she deserves a raise!

On 7th I went to House & Home at Westgate centre to return the cookerhood which was still in good condition but then the manager name Velen Naren gave me an attitude shouting at me that she cannot take it back because it's over 7 days and the guy who build cardboard for me did not leave a gap for the cookerhood the chimel one. So I wanted to exchange to the flat one but it was a big issue. I wanted to exchange and she thought I wanted money and she only understood after her argument. She doesn't have customer service and her manners towards customers is terrible and I don't think I'll buy again at House & Home. I then told her I'll report and she said I can do whatever I want to do and I really don't think she has the quality be leader/manager. She speaks as if she Is the owner of the store and I can say you've lost a customer and I'm certain I'm not the only one who has a issue there. I am very disappointed I was agitated, sugar levels high and blood pressure spiked high.
