Worst experience with their gateway branch my wife went in to buy a fridge upon arrival she noticed its small we need something bigger when we called in they refused to assist even though we still have the packaging and it arrived yesterday policy states 7-14 working days but the reps dont disclose all that stuff unhappy customer

STAFF TALKING SITTING AROUND To whom this may concern I want Management of Game stores to know that most of the time when shopping in Game the staff sit around and talk? And do not serve the waiting clients and some of the ladies in charge are very rude like in Tzaneen and Southgate Mall. I really think Management of Staff should be more diligent and train staff accordingly. We the customers always have to wait to pay or for refunds!!!

I was talked into applying for a Game store credit card by a staff member during a recent visit. I only carry one account and generally avoid debt so I had reservations from the start. Two weeks later I can say without hesitation that it has been a mistake. I collected my card at Game Kolonnade and have been relying on the Game Credit app to make purchases since I store all my cards digitally and never carry them physically. The app works about 10% of the time. Logging in is a nightmare and even when it does work purchases frequently fail. I am sitting with a credit account I cannot use. I have also been unable to reach a human at Game support for two full weeks. Every attempt comes back with a service difficulties message. This is not acceptable from a company of this size. I want to know if this is a known ongoing problem because customers are effectively being signed up for accounts they cannot access or use. I expect a proper resolution and would caution anyone thinking about a Game credit account to reconsider until these very basic issues are sorted out.

I placed an online order with Game for Bobtail dog food to the value of R597. The following evening I received an SMS advising of a delay, followed by two emails — one confirming the delay and a second cancelling the order outright. The cancellation was initiated by Game, not by me. I subsequently received an email stating that I had been refunded, however no refund reflected in my account. I phoned Game and was told that finance would contact me — they never did. I phoned again and was informed that because I bank with Capitec, I needed to provide proof of banking details. I comp**** and submitted the required documentation on 15 May 2026. As of today I have received no feedback to my email, no refund, and no communication whatsoever from Game's finance department. When I queried the timeline I was told the refund would take 10 to 14 working days — meaning Game will have held my R597 for approximately 5 weeks following a cancellation that was entirely of their own making. To make matters worse, the order does not even appear on my Game profile, making it impossible to track or follow up through normal channels. This is not an isolated administrative delay — this is poor service, a lack of accountability, and in my view an ********* business practice. A retailer cannot cancel an order and then hold a customer's money indefinitely while offering no proactive communication or resolution. I am requesting that Game refund my R597 immediately and provide written confirmation of the transaction. Should this not be resolved promptly I will be lodging a formal complaint with the National Consumer Commission in terms of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Horrible experience with their online shopping. Order was made over 10 days and to date no delivery. All I keep being told is that the order is being rebooked for delivery, and I am being told all this after I personally make follow ups, they don't contact me to inform me about delays. I have even requested to cancel the order and now they are telling me that the same store that has been failing to make delivery has to cancel my order, in order for me to get my refund. The same store that has been failing to book a delivery??

Johan Van Meersbergen : Kolonnade Branch I have received the best service every from Johan! I had been looking for a desk for my kid and it was marked sold out for long on the website. I went into a few stores to try find out when stock will come in & was told by all that they have no idea I then called HO and they told me the same, no idea but i can call closet store and get a rain check I called closet & was told there wont ever be stock coming in again so i cant do the rain check plan but was told that Kol Branch has 1 in stock I saw it was abt 70km from home but still made contact to see if it can be sent to my nearest store Johan was so helpful, he arranged invoice same time, i paid, and desk was delivered within 2 days straight to my door with no charge! He is absolutely amazing, as he could have also said he had no stock & no idea when its coming but he went the extra mile So grateful for such people like Johan

No one should ever try to protect their device through them. Their policy is inconsiderate on circumstances that are beyond ones control. They refused to recompense me for a device that was lost in an office even though I indicates reasons for me to keep my belongings in that office as I didn't have a separate office that i could call my own. I now have to continue to pay for a device that's ****** and no longer in my possession. I made an appeal, which were never considered. Let's not just take any cover, especially for GAME PROTECT, it will cause more STRESS &

Bought a kettle under the Bennett Read collection at Game, kettle was faulty took it back the store refused to replace it and said it will take it in for assessment, it's been 9 days in this winter cold without a kettle and no communication whatsoever from Game or Tevo. If a small appliance like a kettle takes more than 9 days to repair what about bigger appliance? This is bad customer service and had I know this I would not have bought this brand or gone to Game.
